Rated 5 out of 5 by from Show stopper! It’s really a beautiful statement lamp. As others have said it takes regular bulbs which is great, but the globe’s opening is narrow. We ended up using led appliance bulbs which turned out perfectly. I saw they used skinny Edison bulbs at the store. I prefer white light. Just be really careful tightening the three screws to the glass collar. I did mine outside on the grass and two fell off because I didn’t open the screws enough or hold the glass on straight and flush. It went up really quickly but takes two people to avoid reading the glass. Absolutely recommend this light. We hung it in our entrance.

An extension pole allows for high ceiling installation. I'm a realtor and just looking for bang for the buck and this fixture offers both. Stylish, modern, but melds into a classic setting nicely. It also provides ample light. BUT the bulb hole is tight so pick your bulbs carefully. I suggest the small warm light LED retro bulbs.

It was straightforward enough to install, and totally worth the money. Make sure to pick up the T45-24LG Canarm bulbs (which we also ordered from this website) if you want it to look like it does on the box. Very, very pleased.

We had a very difficult time finding a chandelier that would suit our dining room (our ceiling height is about 16.5 feet high). This was the perfect chandelier! I'd like to put this in my living room and hang it from the ceiling. The power box for it is on the wall so I need a lot of length to wire it into the box but hang it from the ceiling. Can this be done with this light?

For it to be on the living room ceiling, the ceiling would have to be about 10ft high if the location may have people going underneath it. This is a very long chandelier. It's absolutely stunning though.

How can the shortest length be 44" when the photos look to be average height ceilings and looks as though you could walk under it? 44" would be way too long even for a dining room table in a house wirh 8 ft ceilings. Are other buyers shortening it somehow

Includes 2 x 6 inch and 3 x 12 inch down rods for height adjustment. You can choose the length you need at the time you are assembling the chandelier. Screw together the rods, few parts comes on the package.
