  1. Quiet 700 air watt power unit is made of rugged all steel construction with a bake on powder coated paint -providing a durable long-life product with an elegant appearance. It's powerful 2-stage 5.7 inch Lamb motor produces 700 air watts with 140 inches of sealed vacuum, which is more than enough power to clean large homes.
  1. Easy to install wall mounting bracket makes installing the power unit a breeze, saving you time, effort, and money. It also comes with your good neighbour exhaust muffler, reducing the sound even more! Plus, many more features. The sentry light lets you know that you have power to the unit. The manual on/off switch lets you operate the power unit manually reducing emergency service calls if you have problem with your installation.
  1. Canavac power unit comes with two stage filtration system, micro filtration with cyclonic action. Canavac provides the best of both worlds when it comes to emptying your dirt.Either just empty the 16-litre dirt pail, or if you have allergies use optional bag system. Just remove the bag and drop it in the garbage. Each unit includes one HEPA replacement bag. The micro filter keeps dirt and debris from getting into the motor and ensures longer motor life!
  1. Your Canavac system comes with a low voltage (24volt) 30 ft. lightweight crush-proof hose with pistol grip handle. You can turn your power unit On/Off at the hose handle. The Euorpean designed turbo nozzle with it brush roller provides even more power to clean your carpets and area rugs.

Your cleaning accessories includes: (1) a straight air telescopic wand which allows you to adjust your cleaning reach (2) a European designed turbo nozzle with brush roller for cleaning carpets and area rugs (3) a hand turbo brush for cleaning of stairs and upholstery (4) a clip-on-tool-caddy for tool storage (5) a 12 Inch floor brush for cleaning of hard surface (6) upholstery and dusting brushes for delicate cleaning and (7) a crevice tool for the hard to reach spots (8) a hose rack to store the 30 ft. crush-proof hose (9) and once you competed your cleaning you can store the telescopic wand on the wand holder which is included in the package.

Bon aspirateur central mais sens que les équipements sont un peu de basse qualité, Boyau de 30' en plastique et garde sa forme spirale, longueur rétractable qui perd de l'aire et émet beaucoup bruit, les accessoires semble correct, le temps nous le dira.

All the fittings were the same, the hose just plugged into the existing wall receptacle, even the low voltage wires were the same. The motor seems to run a bit hot but lots of suction for our 3 floor townhouse. Only had to replace the wall bracket and had to use a 45 degree elbow.

Is the hose wireless? Or does there need to be an electrical outlet nearby

No electric outlet required. This hose is only a low volt hose which allows the user to turn the vacuum on/off at the handle. It will not run an electric brush.

What size of a breaker required for this unit? 15A or 20A?

The Central Vacuum Power Canisters require a separate/dedicated, 120 Volt, 60Hz., 15 Amp, 3 wire grounded power circuit to operate.

does this unit have a tangential bypass motor

No. It is a flow through motor. 100 percent of the air sucked in by the vacuum is blown right through the motor windings. Provides good cooling to the motor however it is a very low cost motor. Very good suction but quite cheaply built. Specifically built low cost exclusively for home depot. Typical HD schlock.
