It's powerful long life 2-stage 6.6 inch Lamb By-Pass motor produces 660 air watts with 145 inches of sealed vacuum, which is more than enough power to clean very large homes. With the Lamb 2-Stage 6.6 Inch By-Pass motor with it's curved carbon brushes provides longer motor life. This unit is designed for performance and built to last a life time!
  1. The dual intakes and easy to install wall mounting bracket makes installing the power unit a breeze, saving you time, effort, and money. It also comes with your good neighbour exhaust muffler, reducing the sound even more with the option to vent the unit if required. ! Plus, many more features. The manual on/off switch lets you operate the power unit manually reducing emergency service calls if you have problem with your installation.

Yes, this model is similar to the LS790 since it does have the same motor that is in the LS790, but there are a number of different features from the LS790. It does come with a 35 foot hose.

How powerful is the motor on this model?

The power head is very good no issues with it, had it for almost a year now. The only issue I have with this model is the hose. It is constantly getting kinked, so annoying. I have had 3 built in vacuums, all different models, and this is the only one that has had the hose kink so much.

What is the decibel rating on the CVP145PE ?

Sound level is affected by many things so it’s not easy to answer your question. The environment it’s installed in can affect the level of noise; sound can bounce off things creating a loud noise. The unit you are asking about runs at approximately 75 db. This measurement is taken at 10 ft. from the unit in a normal living environment. One way you can reduce the level of sound coming off the unit is venting to the exterior, which will take the noise outside.

Which system is the most efficient for vacuuming pet hair from deep shag carpets?

The package CVP145PE, item # 1001386457 would be the idea model to purchase. It has the power, and with the European designed electric brush the pick up you would need for deep down carpet cleaning. The hand turbo nozzle would aid in cleaning the pet hair from stairs and upholstery.
