Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thought out, easy to install, sturdy. Well designed, surprisingly sturdy. It does the trick with no problems on my install. I will give some tips for installation on an exterior wall with vapour barrier: Use a stud finder to find the nearby studs. Leave several inches between the mounting bracket and any close-by studs. This will ensure there's slack in the vapour barrier, reduces the risk of a puncture, and leaves room for your cables. If you do happen to puncture or mar the vapour barrier, use tuck tape to repair the damage. For extra protection, apply a couple of layers of tuck tape to the vapour barrier before mounting the bracket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean and Simple Does what it's made for. Excellent for blind installs with no access to a stud. It's about 2" deep so if you are installing on an insulated exterior wall, you may want to protect the vapor barrier with some tuck tape or similar as it will put a bit of pressure against the insulation. Sure beats just having a cable just dangling out of a hole in the wall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Patience Saw a lot of negative feedback on the screw tightening - be patient and work the screws into the bracket slowly to the expected drywall depth, then reverse out to install. No issues once you follow that pre- step. Cheapest re- work box in the market. Good for mounting a plug for a wall hung TV.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poorly made and more difficult to install Bought a few of these when my electrical suppliers aren't open and they are inferior in many ways to the Arlington branded products. The plastic is fairly flimsy so the screw breaks free of the mounting clamp and the whole frame flexes a lot. That said, they do get the job done and they're still better than the metal rings. Just don't overtighten the screws!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect solution for drywall install Needed to install two of these for TV and VDSL modem hookup. Very easy to install. Not sure why others had issues with screws - all I did is to give them a few turns in and out holding flaps with my hand before setting up in the wall and it worked really well. Excellent value for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Retrofit coaxial mounting frame This was a really easy unit to install. It has little guide holes so you know exactly how much drywall to cut out. The arms hold the frame nicely against the wall, and it worked very well for the coaxial cover plate I screwed to it.
