in the pictures the supports that you would attach to the roof run in the direction that you would measure the width. Can they be turned 45 degrees so that they are running in the direction that you would measure depth?

Additional hardware is not available, hooks and mounting hardware can be purchased at your locally hardware store, Standard S hooks work well for hanging items from the wire frame cage.
