Rated 3 out of 5 by from Drywall delivery drywall was scored with a deep gouge on the back of each pair of wallboards. Looks like a fork lift operator was gouging upon insertion to lift sheets. Disappointing. Several sheets ruined.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Check your delivery for damages! Bottom three sheets were damaged during delivery. It looks like the damage was caused by a fork lift. One sheet was not useable, but was a spare anyway.

If I order 1, do I get two sheets? They are usually bundled in 2.

    Asked by: JSte
No. I had an uneven quantity and they split the sheets apart.

The Overview says "superior mold resistance". The Specifications say "Mold/mildew resistant: No." Which is correct?

    Asked by: Richard
The discrepancy on the product page will be fixed, it should say "Yes" for mold/mildew resistant. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and apologies for the delay in response.

what's best for the bathroom walls behind a tub surround walls

    Asked by: weme
Green board is mold resistant, so that would be best for this use. https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.12-inch-sheetrock-ultralight-mold-tough-4-ft-x-8-ft-drywall-gypsum-panel.1000152285.html

We are a family of 6 people and in a process for renovating our bathroom. Could we use it inside the shower area?

    Asked by: Todd
Sheetrock UltraLight Mold Tough can be used for a tile substrate in dry locations or areas with limited water exposure. This panel also qualifies as a water-resistant backing board for ceramic tile in residential tub and shower enclosures as permitted in the National Building Code of Canada 9.29.10.4.

when in a basement, does the green side go on the inside of the wall

    Asked by: Anonymous
You're not suppose to use Green Board for a basement. The transfer of humidity in and out of the basement can cause significant mould damage over time. I would suggest consider using a product that isn't paper based. Such as Cement or Magnesium board for a basement.

Is this a good product for bathroom walls

I am having to do a Reno on my bathroom due to a toilet leakage and have had to take out the bathtub, vanity and toilet out in order to put in a new sub floor. As I live in a mobile home, after taking out these items out of the bathroom I have noticed water damage done to the panelled walls. I am leery about using panelling for the walls and would like to use drywall before putting in the new tub, tub surround, vanity and toilet. Would this product be a good choice to use and as a 1st time DIY would this be a difficult job to tackle

do i have to put this in before the tub surround

we are renovating an older bathroom and am going to install the below shown products. The existing tub and surround are leaking and the drywall has mold as well as crumbling. The existing shower and tub leak into the basement. I am trying to renovate this area for the best price and least amount of work. I'm sure that I am going to have to replace all of the dry wall as the existing is largely damaged and so want your advice as to the best way to go. This is a fairly small area.
    Asked by: LeAnn
CGC Sheetrock Brand Mold Tough panels are ideal for areas with high humidity or intermittent contact with water, but they are not water-proof. Once the leaking water issues are resolved, this would be the best product for this application.
