Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality. Stay away from it and Home Depot This product is terrible. Not only does it have less features than the one I was replacing that was 15 years old, but it is also so badly designed that I had to bring it back. The battery door only holds on with a single screw leaving the bottom of the door sticking out and easily pryed up and broken. The slider is stiff and hard to pull open. No features like having one time codes or timed codes. If you would like to give temporary access. These features were on my old remote. Returned within an hour of purchasing. Don't even bother.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Was very easy to install and program however it stopped working after about 3 weeks. Will only work to close the door not to open it. Tried reprogramming a few times. Tried the 1-800 number and they were no help. Returning to the store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Quick and easy programming, easy to follow directions....took me less than 2 minutes to program the unit with my Linear opener....and about 10 minutes from opening the package to installed and working. Lots of range with the 9 volt battery, red backlighting is bright at night, numbers seem durable. Hopefully it lasts a long time without any problems. My only suggestion would be to have the programming steps on the inside of the cover for quick reference. Excellent value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I just installed this product, they must have listened to the reviews and improved the product. I installed the unit and configured it to work with my LiftMaster MyQ control panel in less then 10 minutes. My cover is a little stiff to open but I'm sure that is because it is new. The only thing I would have liked is if it was available in black, but it' not a big deal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product Easy to install and program, and then the unit stopped working about a month later. Tried to reprogram with no luck, so this product found its way to where it performs the best...in my garbage can. Money well wasted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, but need compat. new vehicle opener Works really well. A little bit of futzing around to set it up, but once it was set up it's sure great to have. Don't have to worry about a forgotten/lost key, being locked out, having to go in the garage door, wet dog in the rain etc. Our garage door is a c.2001 Black and Decker and it works fine. The only thing is, be aware, the garage door opener on the car no longer works - we had to go get a new, compatible opener for the visor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total Garbage All excited about having a keyless entry to the garage but ended up being very disappointed. Would not connect to the Lift Master door opener after 2 hours of trying. What a waste of time! Bringing back and go somewhere else to shop.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy setup Works well. Paired quickly with my circa 2003 liftmaster. Only issue I have with it is the poorly designed sliding cover that falls off if you aren’t careful.

Hi Can this universal Remote Keypad be used as well as another button type remote for the same opener?

Asked by: Eagle 1623
My house came with a garage door.opener package including 2 small portable push button openers and one wall mounted opener. I purchased this universal remote to be mounted on the outside of my garage and it works with the existing pacakage perfectly.

I just installed a "clicker" model KLIK2C keyless entry for my Liftmaster garage door opener. Now my remotes no longer work.

When I reprogramme the remotes, the keypad opener doesn't work...??????

I'm thinking you probably have the DIP switch type motor unit, which can be tricky to program, rather than the Smart/Learn button type. Call 1-800-442-1255 for troubleshooting help from Clicker.

I need to change the code on my KLIK2C Keyless entry. How is it done

Asked by: Anonymous
By code, I'm assuming you mean the 4 digit PIN that triggers the unit to open and close the garage door. Enter your existing PIN and press *. Enter the new PIN and press *. PIN is now changed. If you continue to have issues, call Clicker at 1-800-442-1255.

How many openers one keypad(Model:KLIK2C) supports

My two garage doors are installed with two opener machines. What to know, do I need to buy two remote keypads or one can be programmed for both?
Asked by: Anonymous
Hello, and thank you for your question. This keypad can only be programmed to a single garage door opener. However, depending on the manufacturer of your opener, Chamberlain may offer a keypad that can be programmed to both. For more information on the available options, please feel free to contact Chamberlain's Technical Service Center by calling 1-800-528-9131. When you do, please have the make and model of your openers available if possible.
