Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average grill Gas grill is weak. Only heats up to 300 degrees closed. But. That was in the rain. Charcoal side is amazing. Easy to install. But does not come with extra hardware so be careful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A solid performer! This is my second 5050 Char Griller in 8 years! I clean and season my grill after each use. I coat all parts inside and out with vegtable oil and heat both sides for about 15 minutes. This step keeps the grill rust free for many years! Excellent performer every time!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality(paint fell off)- denied warranty Very disappointed in the quality. Company does not stand behind product. My grill is not even a year old yet and paint has fallen off on the underside. ( Lightly used too/covered and taken care of) A family member has the same model now for 10+ years and is better quality! Warranty was denied when inquiring. I would look elsewhere now knowing that warranty is of no help. No integrity of product. Truly dissatisfied in my grill especially the price. I would return but that window ran out

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have had this one for ten years so far. The Duo has worked great for me, added the offset side box from the start. It does have some limitations but cooks as it should. Mine is always outdoors all year, the cover is not waterproof and I gave up on using one after my second winter but still have a new cover in the bag! Just remember to season the grill inside and out, using cooking spray or pork grease because oily metal won't rust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT GRILLING/SMOKING EQUIPMENT!! If you want a RELIABLE, EASY TO USE, WONDERFUL piece of equipment that you can depend on, this Duo 50/50 is the one for you? The gas grill side can reach 600 degrees, which is very helpful for burning off the grates. The grilling/smoking side is awesome, in that if you properly adjust the lower right side vent of the firebox along with the top left air vent of the meat box, it is easily possible to maintain your desired cooking temp with little effort. This unit is a BEAST!! Don't even waste your time with one of those digital electronic units. I did, never again. This duo 50/50 is THE answer.
