Rated 2 out of 5 by from Width of TP I have been a loyal customer for years. In a purchase a month ago, I noticed the width of the rolls was almost 1/2 inch narrower than normal. I thought this was just a mistake, ( saved the cardboard roll to be sure). I bought your product this month & again the rolls are narrower. I am sure this is a way of increasing your profits but it is a quality issue to me & it causes the use of more paper & therefore an increase in cost to me & everyone else. People's bottoms aren't getting any smaller & you advertise that you need to use less when you go. You may want to reconsider your decision to cut the rolls in an effort to keep your customers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from All Change Is Not Good Shrinking the Charmin Ultra Strong Mega Rolls from 352 sheets per roll to 330. Narrowing the rolls from 4.27 in to 3.92 in wide. Did you think that we would not notice the new “messy” experiences that we are having & the fact that we are having to use more paper to do the job? The quality has decreased also. It is not as soft & my fingernails go through multiple layers of the paper now. My latest experience was 8 layers. I feel certain this was done to increase profit margins, but with these changes you may lose enough people for those profit margins to “shrink” too! After being loyal to you for 30+ years it looks like I will be having to look elsewhere!

The last 12-roll package of extra-strong Charmin I bought was significantly smaller in size. When I compared one of the new rolls to the a roll I had left from the previous package, the difference was dramatic. Yet, the price remained the same. Did you really think customers would NOT notice a 1/2" decrease in roll size with no commensurate decrease in price? If this policy is not rescinded, I will be looking for another brand. I'm sure that I and many other customers hope that won't be necessary.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very disappointed in a company I had come to trust We have used the Charmin Ultra Strong for many years and have even had friends ask us the name of what we used. However, the recent changes to the product make it such that we will be looking for a replacement. The width is drastically reduced making it look silly on the holder. Of course it is also slightly shorter. And then the softness that Charmin has always been known for is gone!!!! It is very sad to see such a fine product fall to the ax of someone who needs to make changes either for profit margins or to have something to do to keep a job in advertising.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seems to have recently changed? I have been a big fan of Charmin Ultra Strong for years now. I have this (legitimate) OCD issue where if my toilet paper doesn't rip properly between squares, it triggers an anxiety attack. Laugh if you wish, but that's just how life is for some of us. Charmin Ultra Strong has always been hearty enough to not give me problems, and the absolute perfect paper for strength and comfort. In the past 2 purchases, the quality of the tissue has seemed to change. Not in perforation, but in... hardness. This new paper seems rougher and of cheaper quality than my previous purchases. It's hard, and uncomfortable. I am currently searching for a different type of paper that will suit my needs.

When i like it i want to buy more of the same but i'm not always sure which one i just finished . Please put a label on the inside of the cardboard roll. It would sure be nice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Deceptive product I have comfortably shopped for Charmin for many years, having considered it the best. However, my latest purchase is sooo disappointing that I wondered if it was counterfeit. Spools are shorter, bigger round, and it takes twice as much paper now per use. Makes me mad that I can't depend upon Charmin any more and will have to shop, compare and try out different brands. Charmin has done a very bad thing altering the size of the rolls. The rolls in my 24 pack were not even all the same size, measuring 3" up to about 4" and it is not the same paper, either!

I used it in my house exclusively, but i'm very disappointed in the reduction of the size of the sheet. Reducing the size from 4" means I can no longer use less like your ad says. Though the thickness is still there, the smaller size reminds me of the paper you get in public bathrooms. It doesn't even fit on my holder properly and falls off when I get close to the end. You should have increased the cost a quarter and left the size and quality. I GUESS I'M GOING BACK TO COTTENELLE.
