Rated 5 out of 5 by from FABULOUS!! Great coverge...did our whole deck. Our back deck is very old and this product soaked right in and never looked blotchy. The natural grain shows through really well and we love the NATURAL colour that we chose. Easy clean up and not a stinky product. The deck dried quickly in the sun. We will see how it does through the winter and spring. We will buy another can for the front deck next year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very unhappy with results we bought this product last summer to restain our existing deck. We rented a large floor sander from Home Depot and sanded off all the old stain. We washed and used a wood prep prior to applying this stain. We applied 2 coats and followed the manufacturers instructions exactly as written and had advice from Home Depot staff. After only one winter most of the stain has peeled off. It is very disappointing since we spent hours of hard work and lots of $$$'s.

Would definitely buy again. For anyone complaining about staining their deck...who the heck stains a deck not expecting to restrain high traffic areas annually or bi-annually? C'mon guys...answer is if you didn't know that and are mad, that's on you. Just use clear waterproof stain on a deck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to apply with paint pad cedar color much darker than expected but gave a smooth finish, dried quickly and did very well after a heavy rain, used it on a long boardwalk,oil smell lingers for a few days, preferred old northern cedar which they discontinued, price a bit high.
