The PM650R is new versatile rechargeable area light at an entry-level price point. It has a magnetic base that can affix firmly to any metal surface with a rubber pad to conform to uneven surfaces. The 700-lumen light has three light levels, the bezel rotates 180 degrees, and focuses to illuminate both broad or narrow areas. The PM650R is rechargeable, with an embedded Li-ion battery. The light will run continuously on AC/DC power using the included power cord with the micro USB charging port.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from it will be perfect if one more magnet in the back 4 star because I expect all coast lights are lifetime warranty, only found out is 5 year warranty before I open the box. Star can be added after a few more use of it, so far used couple times under hood and for alignment only. Great for alignment shinning the light for adjustment, but under hood for valve adjustment or replacement on top of engine. but when you try to work on the side of the engine , the light shinning on the hood becomes a shadow. For the price and the brightness , no complaint

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Coast falls way short with this design This is a mediocre work light at best I have had this light about 5 weeks and the rubber bottom has tore in several places, the brightness of the light has also began to wane and it doesn’t stay charged but an hour or so with me using the lowest brightness the only reason I give the light 3 stars is because the idea behind the light is great it just doesn’t perform as advertised and I am surprised because I own several other Coast products and I have never been let down by the performance of each one but this light falls short and it was my plan as an HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN to utilize this light as my go too but I had to go to plan B once I got the light and began to use it all day every day it just can’t handle that kind of work load I would not recommend this light and would advise others to consider other options for a all day everyday work light

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Little power house with really bright light Very sturdy, extremely bright. Small and convenient and very light weight. It's actually so small it will fit in a work coat pocket. I used to buy towers of LED lights for work we used to do on roof tops in NYC which were very bulky and caused us to make 2 trips to the truck. This could replace those I believe. It can act as a flash light. Plus the magnet on the bottom is excellent, if you worked on telco cabinets like I did you could just attach it to the door. Excellent product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everyone should have one. This is the most useful and versatile light I have ever owned. Last year we lost power for 7 days. Placing this light on the kitchen counter would light up our kitchen and living room. The battier never ran out and we charged it during the day with a car charger. The magnet works great when working on vehicles or other household projects. I just purchased 4 of the 650's in early December for Christmas gifts for family members.
