Rated 5 out of 5 by JMak from Great for Canadian Winters This snowblower is identical to my old White Outdoor Commercial snowblower, which I used for eight years maintaining 20+ properties. Logged nearly 1000 hours of run-time. It is ideal for large laneways in areas that gets lots of snow. The engine and auger tear through snow like a beast. Only drawback is that it is fairly heavy. Due to extensive use and storage in shed, I did have to replace the cables for controlled steering and chute cable. Usually 1-2 shear pins per 100 hours. Changed belts after 500 hours. There is no doubt in my mind that this could serve as a lifetime snowblower if properly setup and maintained.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Francois Pouliot from Columbia - 30-inch 357cc Two-Stage Snowblower This unit was purchased to replace a stolen Ariens 30 inch SHO that was hard to start without flooding it, had a way too small gas tank to be any kind of useful and had transmission/wheel axle freezing issues. This "no frills" Columbia snowblower is solid, powerful, very easy to start, dependable and gets the job done quickly! Way better than my previous Ariens SHO for less money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bob76 from Columbia Snowblower Bought the snowblower a few years ago and it is the biggest pile of garbage ever. Do not buy a Columbia. It keeps breaking shear pins even in the lightest snow. It constantly keeps getting jammed.
