Comfort-Aire dehumidifiers quietly, efficiently and effectively remove excess moisture from indoor air. This unit will control humidity to make your home feel more comfortable, prevent damage from excess moisture, and it can even help control allergies.

  1. ENERGY STAR Certified dehumidifying unit
  1. Condensed Water can be collected in the removable container or drained direct using the adapter that's included; a handle makes it easy to empty the container
  1. All controls are located on the top of the unit so they're easy to see and adjust; displays actual room humidity/relative humidity set point
  1. When the drain container is full, the unit automatically shuts off, then displays a "Full" light.
  1. Unit will automatically restart after a power failure, making it ideal for second homes or offices, as well as primary residences.
  1. Mesh filters are easily removed from the units so they can be cleaned and reused.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent machine I bought this in the summer to deal with the humidity in my 2000 sq. ft. office. It worked very well and brought the humidity down to desired levels within a few hours. It is very easy to use and the well easy to empty. My only concern was that I found the unit a bit noisy. Unfortunately, I had to place it in my office where there is a plug, but it made conversation difficult over the hum of the machine. Still, I would highly recommend this dehumidifier.

Can this be hooked up to screw in garden hose for drainage

The default is to drain into the integral water bucket, however there is an outlet that can accept a garden hose connection (with included adapter) for continuous drainage. Thanks.
