Our Thru-the-Wall Series is designed for home and light commercial application. This unit includes a trim kit which allows the units to fit many existing 26 inch wide wall sleeves. Their solid steel construction, corrosion-resistant paint, and attractive styling will provide years of durable service. Wall Sleeve #EA448F is required for new installations (not included). Compatible only with 230V wall outlets (6-15P Tandem type.)

  1. Energy saver function, auto restart, 24-hour on/off timer, auto and sleep modes.
  1. Easy to remove, front-mounted, slide-out filter is a breeze to clean. Filter is designed to trap dust and other foreign particles, keeping indoor air cleaner. A check filter light on the control pad will signal when filter maintenance is required.
  1. Unit fits standard wall sleeves 26 inch or wider
  1. The 4-way air directional louvers allows users to direct the airflow up or down and left or right throughout the room as needed.
  1. Durable Cabinet is painted for protection from corrosion

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not cooling or removing any moisture from house Bought this unit a month ago, already have a different second, 12 year old AC unit in the house, which is doing all the work. this new unit is not removing any moisture from the house, haven’t seen a single drip coming from it while our other unit is removing gallons of water. We have this unit set to 63F and I’m pretty sure it’s just the fan running. Trying to find a number for tech support but haven’t been able to find a number anywhere online. Not pleased at all with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keepen it KOOL We've installed 4 of these so far. Takes some work to install. You need to also purchase (Comfort Aire Model # EA448F | Store SKU # 1000741174 ) wall sleeve. The outlet box for power should be next/below the unit. Once the sleeve opening is framed in. Reinstall inside drywall and outside siding. These units run strong cold air.

Hello! Is the air coming out from the sides or the back?

The exhaust air comes out from the back only as the sides would typically be covered by the wall sleeve.

The 'ITEM' dimensions include the box the unit will ship in. The 'ASSEMBLED' dimensions are the actual unit.

Am I correct in assuming the "assembled" dimensions are for the unit itself whereas the "item" dimensions are for the box it comes packaged in? I have a 16" x 27" wall opening, so I need to know if the unit will fit.

Does this AC unit have the 20AMP Plug? When looking at plug with the round connection on the bottom the slot to the left is horizontal and the slot to the right is vertical. Replacing an old ac unit with this type of plug. thanks

No it has a 208/220 15 AMP plug. Requires tandem 15 amp breaker.

Requires tandem 15/15 amp breaker with "earth" round pin and 2 pins horizontal (15amp). MarkiMarc82 has given incorrect information. Will work (to code) with 14/2 wire. Black and white wire both become hot.

A review here mentioned 208/230 wiring - I'm not an electrician so I don really know what this means. Will this plug into a normal outlet in an apartment?
