Stay-cool housing 2. 4 position rotary switch control, with low heat 750 watts, high heat 1500 watts 3. Molded handle 4. Tip-over switch 5. Overheat protection system. Cons: 1. Thermostat is not digital. The controls are on the top of the heater and the oscillation function is on the base & can be switched on to rotate the heater which helps to disperse heat more evenly. The unit is small & will fit on an end table For an inexpensive Ceramic Heater it really puts out the heat.

I placed a pick-up order at Home Depot.ca on Mon., May 03/21 & after I spoke to Heather who worked for Home Depot on Dundas St., East, London, Ont. & told her about the situation she said she would try to get them a.s.a.p. - she did & I picked up 3 of these heaters the very same day. These work exceptionally well - love the safety feature of shutting off for a small amount of time so it doesn't overheat - plus the fact that it kept our living room at an adequate temperature of 18 C to 20 C - I have not used just the fan setting yet but hope it will work as well as the heater.

I am using this in my master bathroom as in the fall/winter this room stay chilly and this heater warms up the room pretty fast. There is an oscillation feature if you need to disperse the heat in your space - the switch to activate/deactivate that feature is on the bottom. I really like the size of this as it fits in well under the bathroom counter. For safety, it has a sensor to prevent it from overheating, will turn off if it's tipped over. I am very pleased with this product.

Local heating is a cost-saving alternative to raising the temperature of the entire house. Very useful early mornings in the kitchen and during the day in the office. Light weight (3.3 lbs) and small size enable easy portability. Fits on a table top. Low fan speed and mid range temperature setting provide sufficient warmth without excessive noise. Also useful as a cooling fan in the summer. Shuts off automatically if heater tips over or overheats. It’s too soon to judge reliability. So far, so good. Limited warranty for one year. Made in China.

The heater is a forced air (has a fan) heater and oscillates meaning it more evenly distributes the heat across the room. The heater is nice and compact and only weighs ~3lbs. The fan has three speeds, low, fan (no heat) and high. The fan (no heat) setting makes the unit act as both a fan in the summer and a heater in the winter. The unit also has a convenient handle on the back for one handed carrying without getting your hands near the heating surface.

I mean never take my winter jacket off all day COLD. This little heater has made such a difference. Its compact and doesnt take up too much space in my little cubical and seems to heat it up enough that I can feel my fingers as I'm typing this. Plus my typing speed has increased since I can finally take my gloves off! Definitely something I couldn't say before I got it! It definitely wouldn't be good for a bigger room, but for a personal heater in a frigid office, its a miracle worker. Will not spend another winter without it.

I like that the oscillation feature can be turned off with the switch at the bottom on the front. I measured the power consumption with a in line watt meter and here are the results: FAN (only): 25 watts. LOW (heat): 775 watts after one minute. HIGH (heat) 1400 watts after one minute. Turning on the oscillation switch adds a mere 2 watts to these readings. The heater measures about 10-1/2" tall with the tape measure that I have.

Yes it is very quiet especially in low speed. It makes a little more of a sound in high speed but its not disturbing. It doesn't make any noise as it rotates side to side. I use mine under my desk in the winter and it does not disturb anyone sitting by me at the office.

There is a possibility a power outage or power surge could trigger the automatic overheat protection device. If this happens you will need to turn the heater to the off position, unplug the heater, and wait ten minutes. Then you will be able to plug the heater in and turn it back on.
