Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer beware of incorrect information This light only lasted just over a year from date of purchase! Took it back to Home Depot who informed me that I had to deal with Feit Electric. Feit Electric would not replace the light or honor the stated 5 year warranty which they said Home Depot had wrong on this website. It’s supposed to be 3 years. They also told me that Home Depot would refund me. In the end Home Depot only re-imbursed me $88.00 as apparently this is the lowest price for that model. I’m posting this so consumers will know the ‘true cost’ of products, watch when the information posted says to return a product to the company & not return to the big box retail store you bought it from & also check to make sure the warranty information is accurate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2X4 LED Panel Lights are recommended! I bought three more of these lights as I was so impressed with the first one. However one appeared to have been reboxed. When installed the light swich function the change the intensity failed to work. As it was installed in my shop and I had already disposed of the box, I didn’t return it. The others functioned fine. These lights produce a variable light output and with their low profile and offer easy installation. I paid less for these recent purchases than I did for the initial one bought several years ago. The warm, bright and daylight options allow you to control the light colour to suit your needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice unit I bought 5 of these to replace some old florescent tube units that I had in the basement. They are really nice. Installation isn't that hard but it does help to have a second set of hands available. My basement ceiling isn't that high so these units really help save headroom. They are really bright. Great for cleaning up and seeing everything clearly. They may be too bright for usual use and I installed a dimmer on three of them. Really helps. Dimmer works fine. I've heard with some other units that the dimmers buzz really loud but no problem here. Off the shelf dimmers work fine. I've had them installed for a couple of weeks now and no complaints from the family so that is a recommendation in itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Three colour temperatures and even, bright light The instructions are good, but it is still a bit tricky to install. Basic wiring knowlwdge and safety required. Take your time so as not to have a do-over. One person can manage it, but it is good to have a helper for the final phase of lifting the light panel to the ceiling and attaching it to the mount.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great light quality but grief to install The light quality itself is great. Much brighter and a higher kelvin that matches daylight better than the old fluorescent lighting I replaced it with. 2 main issues: it’s really difficult to flush mount the install if the ceiling isn’t absolutely dead flat and if you want to change the colour temp it has to be removed from its holder. It’s also very pricey compared to other options, but yields a great light quality.

Could these replace fluorescent troffer fixtures in a drop ceiling? The ones I currently have are 1' x 4'.

What is the CRI rating? Does the 3000k setting cast a greenish hue as some lesser quality LED's do?

In the specifications from Home Depot it states that this panel is dimmable, however in one of the questions asked, it is stated it's not rated as dimmable. Can you confirm which is correct?

It’s not dimmable, but you can choose different light intensities.  Before you install them there is a switch that you set for your choice or to choose all.  If you choice all it is then controlled at the switch.

I bought this light thinking it is what I wanted. The specs say dimmable. They responses say dimmable. The light arrived in Feit Box and said "not dimmable". I assume the box is correct. Please clarify.

Can this 1 X 4 or the 2 X 4 lights be mounted off centre in regard to the junction box. eg. 3ft left of the box, 1ft to the right. Please confirm they are dimmable.

Thank you for your question. This fixture must be mounted with the junction box center on the fixture, otherwise the wiring will not feed to the fixture correctly. The mounting plate for this fixture is also attached to the junction box, with the slot in the center. The 2x4 panel is an exception to this, as it can also be hardwired to 277v and installed in a drop ceiling.

Can two or more of these lights be connected together end to end?

Thank you for your question. Each fixture must be attached to their own power source with 120v junction box, mounting without space between the fixtures making them end to end, or 120v-277v T-bar style system using the included boxes with conduit cables, which can daisy chain from one to the next.
