Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fail - Unreliable Bought 2x and both have failed to penetrate wire. 2 of 2! Not just failed, but completely unable to penetrate, even at repeated attempts. Not due to my user error as I am not new to this type of connectors and I know exactly what I am doing.

Just place the wires in the color coded slots and use the included insertion tool to press them into place for a rock solid reliable connection. Once you are done inserting the wires, you simply snap the jack right into the wall plate. It's literally and figuratively a snap!

can you run inline
Asked by: Herbert
You can only use this jack inline (in a splice) for an analog voice circuit. It is against gigabit Ethernet standard to daisy chain or splice wiring for a data circuit.
