Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing blackout curtains! total blackout curtain works amazing and looks great! when you zig zag the curtain on the rod you loose width so ended up a bit short-- I ordered another 2 -- so I have 2 curtains on each side of window and that works perfect. I joined them together with black duct tape at the back so no light comes in between the 2 side panels.

They reach right to the floor, sealing the space between the curtain and the carpet below the window. Two panels are enough to reach across a fairly wide window. CONS: After a year or two they seem to fade anywhere the sunlight manages to get to the back side (black side). The space between the raised texture strips has bleached to a tan brown along the middle edges. A big disappointment for something that's purpose is to be in, and block the sun.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Therma Plus Shadow curtains I gave the curtains a 3 star rating because they do actually help keep the room cooler. As others have said, the wrinkles are impossible to iron out. Also, I'm not real fond of the series of holes in the fabric. I wouldn't buy these again.
