Rated 3 out of 5 by from Basically good product, very poor instructions We bought this barrel more than a month ago. It was easy to position and to install the two faucets for taking water out. It has a good capacity and is stable even on a not-quite-level surface. However, the instructions for feeding downspout water into the barrel were almost non-existent. The makers clearly thought only of the case in which one could get the barrel right under the downspout and fill it through the top screen. No suggestions as to what to do if this is not possible, no discussion of other kinds of downspout diverters, how to find ones that work with the barrel, how to modify the barrel input for water from such a diverter, or what to do with the downspout hanging in mid-air if one empties and inverts the barrel for the Ontario winter. Also no instructions about what to do with the two nipple locations (?) sticking out of the side of the barrel at the top, except that they are somehow to be used for connecting multiple barrels. In short, the barrel is good, the instructions and documentation are pathetic.
