And das was really important to us, there is nothing worse than a hood fan what dose not do it’s job. We are happy we got the 30 in. Quand je lisais les autres commentaires, je m'Attendais pas à cela. Cela fait presque 2 semaines maintenant que nous l'utilisons et si j'avais pu la changer, pour essayer un modèle au dessus je l'aurais fait. Je suis donc déçu de cet achat. Je répète aussi qu'au niveau des branchement, c'est une plug et non 3 fils à raccorder dans une boite :-)

Assembled Height is 39.4 inches. Can that be adjusted to be shorter?

Yes it can be adjusted to be shorter as you can move the inside chimney up or down to the desired length you need. The assembled height from the top of the inside chimney to the bottom of my fan is only 29.5 inches.

What is the difference between this and the COS-63175S model?

I just had this installed in my kitchen. Originally my electrician set up the space for it to be hardwired but once out of the box and ready to be installed he had to change it because the unit is to be plugged in.

Where does my electrician need to put an outlet for this? Or should it be hardwired.

The power cord of this unit is located on top of the unit, adjacent to the air vent so you may want to check your kitchen setup to determine where's the best place to put an outlet. We do not recommend hardwiring the unit because it may not work properly and any damage caused by the unit being hardwired will not be covered under warranty.
