I used the foot warmer to offset a minor cold draft underneath my home office desk. The item adequately delivered the promised functionality to keep my feet toasty. Unfortunately, the engineers of the Toasty Toes Heated Footrest and those managing them lacked the basic imagination to include a timer or a auto-shut-off switch. The location of the footrest being out of sight is out of mind and stays on forever if one forgets to shut it down... after few such incidents, I returned it for a full refund. I will gladly buy it if and when the manufacturer provides units that come with auto-shut down mechanism.

It’s essentially a rectangular plastic platform with heated filaments molded into it. It doesn’t get overly hot as to cause burns but instead gives a gentle stronger warm vs hot. It does take about 10-15 minutes for it to reach the high temperature and a little less for the low setting. You have the ability to use it 3 ways-flat on the floor,raised at an incline or standing up for a more radiant heat effect. Perfect for any office or work setting where you will be sitting and need some gentle warmth for your feet.

Sits under our desk in the basement where it stays pretty cool. Turn it on and in 10 minutes it will be warm keeping you warm from the souls of your feet up. You must wear a thin shoe or slipper to get the best effect. Medium heat is good , it is a pleasant warmth. It needs some non slip tape on the feet to keep it from sliding around on the wood flooring buy is fine on small weave carpet. Can't put a lot of weight on it or it bends in the middle, but that is in the warnings in the instructions. Simple device and it works good.

Boots and feet go from cold to cozy in a few minutes. Kick off your shoes and put your socked feet right on it for a rush of warmth. As a bonus, having an angled footrest makes sitting at a desk much more comfortable. Product is very durable and shrugs off dirt and moisture. It beats a small space heater hands down. Very safe and efficient. Never gets too hot. No fears of leaving it on and causing a fire. I've had it two weeks and it has paid for itself 10x in comfort and happiness.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice feet & legs heater for underdesk area [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The foot & leg radiant heater from COZY products, takes the chill off my feet & legs under my desk, which is located on the lower level of our home (carpet over concrete.) It does a decent job of heating the under-desk area during the winter months and can be angled to actually act as a foot-rest for your feet if desired. There are two heat settings, low (55 watts) and High (105 watts). I found that you need to warm it up on the high setting, then can turn it to the low setting later if desired. This heater carries a 6 months warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Foot warmer! I have few health conditions which makes my feet very cold. I was using a heated blanket to keep my feet warm during work hours. I did not like get under the desk to move the heated blanket all the time. This foot warmer solved that problem me! I like that it gets warm fast and does not require high energy to run it. I did not give it 5 star for 2 reasons, one the feet of this foot warmer are not sturdy and another is it does not have auto turn off after 2-3 hours. If these things can be improved this will be an awesome foott warmer. I will not mind paying more for these features.

I recently bought it hoping to enjoy using it this winter but sadly will return it after the holidays. Due to the location of its use, under a desk which I presume is out of sight for most users, if one forgets to clime under the desk to turn it off, it stays on forever. Please advise if and when the manufacturer will produce the devise with a timer or automatic shut-down mechanism and I will gladly pay the difference to buy the upgraded and user friendly option. Until then, I recommend all those who see this review not to buy it until Cozy comes up with a new version with a timer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warms my feet all day at work Maybe the previous reviewer had a defective unit. This heated footrest is VERY warm - almost too warm on my feet. Just need to take off your shoes, as the heat may not penetrate a thick soled shoe. Even at the low setting, the footrest eventually gets very warm, but since my feet are always cold, I think that is great! Well made and simple to use.

Will this heat feet while wearing shoes? I have incredibly cold toes and want to use it at my office, so I would be wearing shoes with it. I've tried other similar products and found that they didn't heat through the soles of shoes.

Yes! Though not for as long. When just wearing socks the heat is a little more intense, so I only ever have it on low and turn it off at times to cool down. The little bumps on the bottom are nice on your feet too!

You need an underfloor heating system. Available in various sizes and power ratings as far as I know. This only makes sense to do if you are installing new floor material. If not, there are various heated mats that could be placed in front of your vanity for example. I'm not sure which if any would be ok for a wet area like the shower exit.
