Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with this product Works great so far. Using it on concrete warehouse floor. Stays slightly pliable in cool temps, so I am hopeful it won't crack and pop out like epoxy. My heat gun works with it just fine, although I suspect a torch would be faster.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time and money In January, 2020, I ordered two buckets of Crack Stix, along with a torch and other consumables in order to repair the joints in my driveway. After cleaning the joints of debris, I took my time and slowly melted the Crack Stix into place in order to seal and fill the joints. Initially, the results looked nice, but within 15 months, the sealant had failed, as it shrunk and pulled away from the concrete, as evidenced by the attached pictures. I spoke with Dalton Enterprises about this and submitted pictures and supporting evidence to them. They weren't sure what caused the failure; but offered some replacement product in lieu of a refund. Since I no longer have faith in the product or the company, I'm going to look for an alternate solution.

Probably only about 1/2" so if you have a larger crack you will need to put in one or more strings of this product but it will all melt together with no problem.

Will this remain sealed and not crack and separate in extreme cold temperatures? Winters in my area can reach 20 below zero actual temperature. Most caulks shrink and curl at these temperatures.

Will this product accept black top sealant over this surface?
Asked by: Blacktopsealer
I laid about 200 ft. I was disappointed to see the stuff itself cracked, receded from both sides of the joint where it contacts the cement. Putting tar over it is an excellent idea for a good seal. I have seen other stuff that seems to stay more pliable, but it's a lot more expensive. I really don't see why the tar would not adhere.
