It has a composite stone on the side that looks realistic and easy to use gas compartment for easy change of tank. It is the perfect size to sit around with a group of people to enjoy the scenery. I highly recommend for a cozy backyard atmosphere. Easy to set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the gas fire pit for about 2 weeks now, when it came it was packaged very well with no damage when I removed it from the box. After removing it from the box it was just a matter of adding the lava rock and hooking up the propane tank. As for the propane tank hook up I would recommend that the manufacturer make the hose about 6-8 inches longer as this was a little tricky threading the fitting onto the tank. I was trying to not cross thread it. It took me about 15 minutes to connect the hose to the tank unlike a BBQ grill which takes about 30 seconds. This might be just a matter of hooking and unhooking it a few times to break it in, time will tell and the reason I marked it as good quality instead of excellent everything else feels?seems to be very good quality, the flame adjustment knob the electronic ignition etc. After hooking it up, I tested the ignition and flame adjustment and will say I like that it has varied levels of flame height and looks good. I plan on swapping the lava rock out for glass stones to give it a better look. It also comes with a cover similar to a BBQ grill cover, the cover seems to be durable for weather, which is good because I will be using this in an uncovered area just off my patio. The weight of this is substantial and requires two people to move it, if a guy had to he could move it by himself but I would not recommend it unless you are a trained weight lifter and recommend if you have to move it use a dolly like I did to save your back. Overall the fire pit is made of a resin type stone but very solid and looks great, the top is also a wood looking type of resin and also looks good. I feel overall that it is a very classy looking fire pit and believe it will last a long time! That being said I will try and come back at a later date and re-review this product after more use, since we are in our rainy season I have not had a lot of opportunities to use it. I have attached some photo's to give you all a better idea of it's looks and flame height along with the cover.

The shell is rather delicate and you have to be very careful lifting the tank in an out over the tall lip. I broke some off on the inside the first time. It does chip easy, touch up paint is provided.

for the most part but you can add more lava rock or I plan to add glass stone and use enough to cover it, as long as the small square piece is left exposed per the instructions you are fine with covering it if you do not like it visible.
