I just puchase this unit, on the instratucation on the console show how to turn left and right, but I don't have that switch under the handle. Is this unit has this feature?

After much research after purchasing this unit and also being surprised that the steering finger controls where not there as advertised I discovered that the 24 inch model # 31AM58VRB10 DOES included the finger controls for steering and heated grips. This Home Depot model advertised is not that model. I returned mine and ordered direct from a Cub Cadet dealer. Their advertising error cost me 4 hours of driving, an assembly and a disassembly. Not happy.
