Rated 1 out of 5 by from Have to repair it every time I use it Had a simplicity snowblower for 33 yrs, gave it to my son and it is still going strong. Purchased this cub cadet and the first time I used it reverse quit working and I had to repair it. 2nd use it quit running and would not restart, I pulled the spark plug and the gap was next to nothing so I re gapped it and installed it, started and ran fine. I am afraid of what will happen the next time I use it. Where is the quality control from the factory? should not have to repair on 1st and 2nd use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great. Starting off. This review is from the heart of the City of Buffalo. 'Nuff said? It took about a half hour to assemble the machine pretty much in the dark. It started on the first pull. However - the auger ran with no apparent way to stop it. Once I looked things over it was obvious that I tangled the auger cable when assembling the machine. It took a minute to fix that and the machine worked great. Did I mention Buffalo?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice machine This replaces my aging 22YO Craftsman 9 Horse. I was told by phone that this snow blower rates between 10-12 horsepower. I can feel the difference. Unfortunately, I've only had to use it once since I picked it up a month ago; but I'm not complaining. The heated hand grips are real nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth machine! Just from the reviews, I was really worried about the performance of this snowblower. I'm glad I bought this, it's been great. I've put it through a full season and its been awesome! No issues at all, from 12 inches of snow to 1 inch of snow, this performed very well. Wet snow, light snow, it didn't matter it got it done. I usually never leave feedback unless im completely satisfied and confident in the product. Not sure why people are having starting issues? I would recommend this snowblower to anyone.

It will cut through snow easily and reliably and can handle my 4 acre property, driveway, and all surrounding paths. We get around 1-2ft every couole of weeks here in WA. I especially like the bonus features… heated grips, power steering. The engine is also easy to start. No more shoveling!

Every time it snows, we are at the end of a cul-de-sac and the road plow deposits all the ice and snow right at the end of our driveway. This ate right through that. I love that it has the 18" height so we can power through most things that are thrown our way.

The Intellipower dial has three possible settings ("+", "kW", & "-"). There is absolutely nothing in the operator's manuals that describes how to use this feature. Where can I find instructions on this?!?!?

Could this be used on a gravel driveway?

The spec sheet says paved or gravel. You should adjust the skid shoes so the unit runs above the gravel surface. I would be cautious if the gravel is not compacted and level.

i have a 2x28 272 2 stage intellipower Cub Cadet snowblower for two months since 1/18/2023. works great. the choke knob came loose and vibrates off I put it back on but vibrates off again. how can I fix this? I don't see indication of a break or crack.

Put a drop of BLUE loctite thread locker. The blue stuff allows it to be removed again. Red loctite is much harder to remove.
