Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hated this product This product for me is/was terrible. Drying is spotty at best. Some areas dried while other areas are completely wet still after a few days. I thought after 2 days floor would be dry. Removed leveling system and spacers. After walking on it a few times tiles have shifted in areas. Complete waste of time and money, floor went from amazing to shabby workmanship at best. Not sure how to fix at this point except pull up bad areas and find another product. Buyer beware!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product I tiled 8x8 hex floor tiles and followed the directions to the letter. The adhesive is still squishing two weeks after setting and I’ve spent the evening pulling them up and washing off. So frustrating

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What?? I'm writing this review simply because i was shocked with the bad rating this product got. I do not think this it is the right product to use on floors or large tiles, like others have mentioned, as it does apparently need to air dry. I used this on my very first tiling project, i barely had a clue what i was doing but followed the instructions and it turned out great. I have since used this ONE bucket on 6 home projects ALL MOSAIC TILES though! Backsplashes and walls in kitchens and bathrooms. All the tiles were very small, the biggest being 4x16. When doing the floors with the bigger tiles i used a different product I'd describe as similar to concrete that i had to mix myself, also worked great but that's because it's meant for that. This product however, i loved. It was messy at times but not nearly as bad as i expected. If something didn't go on straight, you have more than enough time to fix it. I was using the small v notch trowel (as recommended) so a little ends up going a long way. It cleaned up well (off all surfaces) and i didn't have any problems with anything not being dry after a couple days. The oldest project was 2 years ago and no tiles have fallen off, and no grout has cracked. I am still astounded with the results i was able to achieve with absolutely no experience :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product First off, make sure you understand how things work before you complain about a product being garbage. This is an EVAPORATION BASED adhesive. It won't dry if it can't get air. If you're trying to tile anything larger than 8"x8" or use a trowel larger than 1/4" notch, use a chemical based mortar/adhesive. You can leave this pail sitting out with out a lid for a week and it won'y dry because once the top dries, the air has a hard time getting past it. Having said that, I've used this product a lot and would highly recommend it. I use it to install 4'x8' wall sheets with a 1/4" notched trowel and 3 years later they are still on the wall. I highly recommend it for kitchen wall tiling and small mosaic tiling. I would not recommend it for 12"x24" floor tiles, ever.. Unless you have a completely smooth floor and you are going to walking lightly on it, and are able to use a 3/16" notched trowel in a completely straight pattern, and let it sit for a week, with an industrial fan blowing at it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product I am putting this review here because of the negative comments. I started out with the thin set mortar for my kitchen back splash. as recommended by the sales associate. My first tiling job. The thin-set for me was a disaster. I felt I was fighting the clock all the way. I went back and bought the one gallon pail of Acrylpro. Totally different product. Went on smooth. I was not in a rush to complete, so resealing the pot was a big bonus. I had several areas where the tile did not stick. One examination, I had not applied enough adhesive. In the first day, easy to cut out the loose tiles, clean the surface and reset. It takes longer to cure. I let mine sit for for 4 days now. I go over the surface and tap for loose spots. None since the first day. There is no difference in the area where I started with thin-set and the areas I finished with Acrylpro. Maybe I have been lucky as I have waited the extra time to let the adhesive completely dry before grouting. It is a different adhesive and I think the HD sales associates do not understand it well enough to give good advice. This is an awesome product for the inexperienced "weekend warrior" but better guidance needs to be provided.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not buy absolute garbage.. Ive done many tiling jobs over the years, never have I used such an awful product... I am seething as I write this knowing I am going to have to (easily) life my tile tomorrow and use a proper product.. 2 days and not even close to drying or bonding for that matter...why would home depot sell such trash? Wish I had read review before purchasing.

what is the coverage for 13.2L Thanks,

Asked by: Ramy
Well...it all depends...on who is applying it. I have used this product before to tile my 5x7 bathroom with about 200 sf of wall space. 1 bucket was good. Got a guy in this time to tile and it took him almost 3 buckets. Think the guy may have been buttering his toast with it instead of the tiles. All in all, this is a great product. Does what it's supposed to do. If you are mindful of your application.
