OmniGrip's unique formula sets a radical new standard, offering many benefits not found in traditional tile adhesives. Formulated with more solids and less water, OmniGrip shrinks up to 33% less than traditional adhesives ensuring maximum coverage and superior bonds. This high-polymer formula remains flexible allowing a wide variety of applications. Excellent for both floor and wall applications. Sets ceramic floor tile up to 16" x 16" (40.6 cm x 40.6 cm) and stone tile on floors up to 12" x 12" (30 cm x 30 cm). It can also be used in exterior wall applications in covered areas. Weighing 25% less than traditional adhesives, OmniGrip applies effortlessly and is easier to carry. Open and adjustment times are in excess of 60 minutes. Offers maximum resistance to prolonged water exposure as defined by ANSI A136.1, Type 1. Protected by MoldGard Technology to resist mould and mildew growth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does Not Dry! My husband and I are redoing our laundry room. We purchased this and some 12 by 12 tiles. We normally purchase the product that you have to mix yourself, but because we were in a hurry decided to go with this pre-mixed tub. I really wish we hadn’t. It is currently day 11 that the tile has been down and the tiles STILL MOVE. I haven’t had a washer and dryer because this tile is still not dry. I am VERY disappointed in this product to say the least. Definitely won’t be buying this pre mixed solution ever again and I recommend no one else does unless you have weeks to wait.. What we thought would be faster on time ended up being a lot more time consuming then expected.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a comparison to other products I was tiling a marble hexagon floor in our bathroom when I unfortunately ran out of the MegaLite mortar I was using. I asked my husband to pick more up on his way home. He decided he liked the look of the OmniGrip. I was desperate to get the job done since we're way behind schedule so I used it against my instincts. It's been 48 hours and the small tiles - just over an inch in diameter, can still be shifted in the area that the OmniGrip was used. I adhered the tiles to Shluter Ditra which may be slowing the drying time but these tiles are so small it's absurd really. It's also left a film on the tiles that for the life of me I couldn't clean off as it shifted everything around each time I tried. So now I'm not sure what to do to clean the mess it's left and the rest of the floor is ready to be sealed but I can't progress because of this terrible substrate...don't use it unless it's a relatively useless area that doesn't require fairly immediate traffic. I have no idea why it's sold for floors...

Only Cork adhesive can used for cork tile. OmniGrip is not a cork adhesive.

Can OMNIGRIP provide good performance on Painted Drywall?

This is for a Porcelain Tile on a backsplash.

We do not recommend bonding anything directly to a painted surface. The paint acts as a bond breaker. We would recommend that the paint be removed prior to the installation. For further information please contact our technical department at 800 272-8786 option 2.

Can this be used on shower walls with 8x12 porcelain tile?

For tile that size i would recommend using a portland cement fortified mortar like FlexBond. Using adhesives with this size tile will result in greatly extended drying times. For more information please contact our technical department at 800 272-8786 option 2.
