Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great on all kinds of tiles. Besides the inside of both showers I will also be sealing the grout & tiles in both bathroom floors, kitchen and front door entrance. I did the kitchen last year but need to clean the grout first. You need to seal both the tile and grout. I fill up my spray bottle and liberally spray the wall especially the grout lines until I see them soaked starting from the top and catching any run down with the soft side of a grout sponge. The edge of the floor will need a wipe too from the drips. Then either with my hand or sponge I lightly massage the sealer into the tile using a circular motion. I let it sit for 5 min then remove any remaining sealer with a micro fibre cloth wiping in a circular motion before it dries. If lots of sealer was soaked in then you should apply it a 2nd time. And yes, dry off your 1st coat so it doesn’t dry and cause stains. Once the cloth gets too wet I grab another one until the tile is clean and spotless. I do 1 wall at a time and do the floor last. I have both large and small tiny tiles and couldn’t do this with a brush or I’d be painting for hrs which is a waste of time. I used this on Glass/Marble, Marble, polished porcelain, porcelain.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I applied the sealer to my unglazed tiles. Based on the instructions at the back of the bottle, I can use it on unglazed tiles. However, after I applied it and dried up, it left a white residue on the tiles. It looks awful. The company makes this product should pay me back my tiles. Don't waste your money.

Hi, 2 questions, Which of the "TileLab SurfaceGard Penetrating Sealer" or "TileLab Grout and Tile Sealer" do I use for the shower floor (Tile & Grout)? and which of the Tilelab products available at home depot will remove existing Tilelab Sealer?

I don't think I have the answer(s) for you! I don't believe it's as simple as it sounds. I believe it will depend on the colour of your grout and how bad the shower tiles are. You may have to use a mildew product for example before using one of the other products. Sorry I can't be of more assistance
