Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cyclone CY3000R This ventilation hood works really well. It is very good at removing the cooking vapors and steam from the stove top. Drawbacks are that due to its two powerful fans the decibel level is still fairly high. The dimming to the low lighting level is almost imperceptible from the high lighting level. Overall it does what I bought it to do, remove cooking vapors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A Good product, But hard to mount it I bought the product a month ago. It was very hard to mount it because only three mounting holes are available, and One mounting hole is occupied by a power cord. Because the size of screws is not big enough for using only three screws to support the whole range hood up, it ended with three mounting holes are changed their shapes and the range hood fell down. Luckily I was around and held it. It took me a whole day to mount it with three bigger size bolts and washers etc. After the range hood is mounted, it works well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A bit disappointed! I was expecting to be less loud but unfortunately it is very loud compared to the old one I had ... even when it’s on level 1 it’s still loud. I find also that it doesn’t suck the odors and the steam as I was expecting it would, it’s not strong enough although it has two fans and it’s suppose to be strong enough... The price is a bit expensive for these results.... but beside that it does the job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Missing part, poor quality! I have ordered two of the range hood. The first one is missing the grease collectors and the power plugin is no installed. So I return and try to order it again. However, the second one is worse. It still come without the power plugin, and one of the the light insight the rangehood is not welded. So if you know some of electrotechnical knowledge and know how to install the power plugin by yourself, you could consider it. Other than that, buy another one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but exhausting Product is reasonably well made, rounded corners and strong elements that should stand the test of time.....have not had a chance to "clean" the unit as per spraying with soapy water while running yet....only criticism is that the numeric display on the front is very difficult to read when its daylight and or with main kitchen light on....but we use the clock on the stove anyway...so not a biggee....works well and we note that it exhausts very well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Workmanship is marginal. I bought this unit for the CFM rating. Installed is looks like the pictures, however it is not a robust construction. Rear and side surfaces are deformed. Items on the inside are secured to the bare minimum required to hold them in place. I'm wondering how long it will last.

Hello, at the lowest speed the Sone level is at 2 and at the highest speed, it is 7.

How many sones does this have on the various speed settings? As well, there appears to be two lights but I see no mention of that in the write-up. Are there lights or not?

need a kitchen range hood

someone was telling me that I can buy a hood that does not need to be vented out side, that it gets filtered threw a charcoal filter and can be plugged into the top of the stove? Does such a product exists

There are charcoal filtered range hoods that don't have to be ducted but this is not one of them.  Venting outside works much better

Hello, the opening is 3-¼” x 10” rectangular and can be vented up into the cabinets or back into the wall directly outside. 6” rigid ducts must always be used to uphold the efficiency and warranty. The lights for this unit are LED.
