Several times, I found myself having to undo a couple of things as the steps were not in the correct order. Review and understand the entire assembly before starting, otherwise GOOD PRODUCT.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent cooling, low decibel output Works great for the size of my room. Both cools and dehumidifies which was important. This cools an area of about 725 square feet for me beautifully. Using a decibel meter, it registers at 62Db directly beside the unit (at full fan power and cooling) and just 57Db in the seating area of the room, making it a very comfortable noise ratio in the room. Very pleased with this purchase.

Can this unit be installed on double sliding windows frame (sliding left-right or vice versa)?

Good morning and thank you for your question! We do not recommend using this appliance in a sliding window as the double-hung window is used to secure the unit to the window frame. For a sliding window we would recommend one of our vertical window air conditioners with the model numbers: DVAC080F1WDB, DVAC080B1WDB and DVAC100B1WDB.

Not quite sure on noise level but its not too loud. Probably 70db or so. Not really noticeable unless you are only a few metres away from the unit. Annual rated power consumption is about 950kWH/yr
