Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beer flows cold During my last renovation (~ 90% done with picture) ....decided to try something different and install a Kegerator by Danby. I went with a direct install into the cabinets/kitchen and everything has worked out great. When writing this review, the temperature is currently 39 degrees and the beer flows so cold. The liquid line actually leaves the cooler thru the counter and then goes into the tower, which I have insulated it myself - No problems as of yet in 2 months. I also purchased the extended warranty from Danby, which gave me 5 years of coverage for ~ $120.00 CDN extra. Keep a eye on the regulator if you do not purchase the warranty though, as it is a low end model and will need replacement down the road. Happy drinking!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing keg fridge! Wrong c02 pressure in manual This cooler is fantastic! However the instructions say to keep you psi at 8-12 psi. To not get mostly foam the pressure needs to be around 3-4 psi for perfect pours everytime!

The CO2 cylinder had to be filled which wasn't a problem and it has been working great since we got it.. Nice cold beer. We got 2 large kegs for a party and went through one and a half so we have not tried using two pony kegs yet. It looks good as well for in a kitchen or a bar.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Get an ice pick! This unit has given me problems since purchased. It was pouring mostly foam, so I had the regulator and coupler replaced, as recommended by a local technician. This helped but the main issue was that when I set the fridge temperature to 3 degrees (measured temperature of a glass of water in there overnight), ice forms and throws off the temperature regulation of the fridge. My solution has been to chip away ice every day or two in order to get a decent pour. Lastly, the tap disconnected from the tower when I tried loosening it a few months after purchasing. I was able to remove the tap but was surprised how little effort it took to disconnect from the tower. The tap now hangs to one side and is wobbly. Gave 2 stars since this was the only affordable option.

This is the 3rd Danby fridge I bought, but the first issue with one. I bought one in 2007 and its still working! So I am hoping this one is just a lemon and Danby can work with us to rectify. Thanks

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Value I compared many models before selecting the Danby 5.4 cu Keg Cooler. The price point was great, the parts and components are decent, and so far I am on my third keg and everything is working good. It is difficult to get the right psi for the CO2 and I have figured out the more you pour in a row, the better the carbonation gets. So as a fail safe, I fill a small glass and let it settle while I fill a glass right after to drink right away. Seems to work this way best!

If you clean regularly and proper May will keep it running trouble free. I find those who are inexperienced and do not regularly maintain and clean the systems usually have issues. Great product!!!

The price savings on a keg vs cans is there for sure so the unit will pay for itself in a few months to a year. I did break one of the wheels quite easily so I would recommend being easy on them

Can I use this cooler in an outdoor cabana?  It has a roof for rain protection and I will bring the cooler indoors over the winter, but would like to keep it outdoors during the spring/summer where the temperature outside might fluctuate from 5C to 30C.

what's the internal dimensions? could I fit a chiller + full size keg inside?

This keg cooler accepts domestic kegs up to 16-1/8” in diameter and up to 23-3/8” in height. There is very little room left over in the fridge and it seems unlikely to me that a chiller would fit inside at the same time.
