I do not have an extra 3 pronged outlet in my apartment. Can I use a 3-Prong Cord/2-Slot Outlet adaptor with this product? And if so, do you have any recommendations for buying that adaptor, like amps/volts/watts/etc. ?

You need to purchase a three prong cable to two prong adapter. Google: Grounded Adapter - 3-Prong Cord/2-Slot Outlet Home Depot doesn’t seem to carry this but is available at other hardware stores.

Just purchased this freezer but it makes noises on and off like a hissing sound and rattling sound. Is it defective. I would have assumed it would be quiet.

We just unboxed our brand new freezer on this pass Sunday, and it will not freeze. I don’t know what’s wrong with it. The green light comes on so there is power to the machine

I purchased this model yesterday (Feb 5, 2021). I selected it because it is advertised as "garage ready". Yet when I unpacked it at home, the manual states that it is not designed for garage use. So is it garage-ready or not?

Hello Hamid, Yes, It can be placed in any room of your home or even in the garage! We recommend leaving approximately 5" of space on both sides, top and back of the unit to allow proper ventilation. Regards, Sasha
