The price seems to be right and power consumption is good such that we saw our bills get lower (though our previous freezer is old, >10 years and much bigger). My advice to those who are buying is 1st to make sure that you get the right size for your family and be sure that the missing feature from this brand will compensate the 200 to 400 dollars price difference like the built in light which this brand/make does not have.

For whatever reason it's impossible to find this info online. But when the freezer arrived it came with an EnerGuide sheet saying 219 kWh per year. Doesn't appear to be Energy Star certified.
