Rated 1 out of 5 by from JUNK, no other way to describe it Don't waste your money on this garbage. First off, this is a water based product. In spite of what the label says this is NOT suitable for use in a tub/shower area. I prepped the tub and put this on. After two days it was still like putty and easily pealed off. thinking I had done something wrong I re-prepped and used the Dapp Kwik Seal Plus instead. It was better but still did not cure properly and on the 3rd day after application I gave up and pealed that stuff off as well. Went and bought the GE 100% silicon and the job was done, cured and looked good within hours not days. Never again will I use this garbage. What a waste of time!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Is this a joke? I bought this in store and sadly did not think to read the reviews before I bought it. Is this a joke? It says literally says it is waterproof and "tubs" is one of the listed uses. I spent hours cleaning and preparing the surface removed every last trace of old caulking and let the whole area dry thoroughly before applying this nonsense caulk (which applied very nicely... its only redeeming quality) only to have it dissolve in the water after a single shower after having left it cure for OVER 24 hours... which is what the instructions say on the back of the product! "Wait 24 hours before exposing to water" and "100% waterproof" WHAT??? No, this melted just like the other reviews said. Unbelievable. Don't care about the money but what a massive waste of time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst caulk ever I bought this to reseal a shower stall. I followed the instructions; cleaned out the old seal and applied this caulk. it looked good when first applied. I waited the requisite 36 hours (as per the directions) before using and it seemed alright. However, after the first shower, the caulk bubbled and ran out. I had to clean it all out, which was far worse than cleaning out the old material, and then used a different product that worked. Using this product added unneeded time and frustration to the job. Do not buy this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DOESN'T WORK! Unfortunately, I joined the group of frustrated and disappointed buyers of this product... I followed ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS and I did a very good job applying the caulking around my shower base BUT, the product TOOK forever to "dry" (more than advertised) and when we first used the shower, it MELTED AWAY! I used both, the CLEAR and WHITE version and BOTH turned into NOTHING! Now, I need to clean up the mess and do everything all over... a waste of money, effort and time! This product shouldn't be sold anymore!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst stuff ever Used this stuff to re-caulk my bathtub, this stuff DOES NOT DRY. Went through the process of removing all the old caulk, cleaned out any mildew, dried the area, then used this caulk. Left it for two days, and right when water hit, started melting away. Thought I didn't let it dry enough, so redid it again, let it dry for 3 days, same result. Then did it again and let it dry for a week, still same result. It looks dry from the outside and to the touch, but as soon as water hits it, the stuff starts to melt away. Returned it to the store and got GE silicone one instead. Repeated the same process, let dry for 48 hours and it was perfect, no problems at all. This Dap kwik seal is the worst caulk I have ever seen. DO NOT USE. I see no reviews on Canada site, check out home depot site in US and you will see very similar reviews.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Read label before buying... The sealer comes out white and could take 7-14 days to become clear. Mine did in 3 days. However it is still curing and it will take few more days to do so. So, if you are in rush take something else. Further because it is white you need to be very careful that everything is clean underneath (do not trust the white coverage) as it will dry clear and you may see the imperfections then..Happened to me and i had to redo and wait..wait...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible for Showers Bought this product because the person at Home Depot told me I could use this for my Stand Up Shower as it was leaking. I waited 76 Hours (Bottle says to wait only 36) and when I used the shower all the caulking turned back to white (Turns clear after drying) and washed out. HUGE leak all over my bathroom floor. Very annoyed and DO NOT recommend for anything. Even at the 76 Hr mark, some areas were still white and not fully dry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Such a garbage! I have not used such a poor quality product for a long time. I have tried this sealant for two different projects, and both failed! The first project was sealing my bath tub. I have followed the instruction as it is mentioned on the tube. The product became transparent once it got dry. As soon as it was exposed to the water, it melted and peeled off. To the technical manager of the company: please don't come up with the idea that the area was not dry or you didn't follow the instruction. There must be something wrong with this product that the other similar sealants works and not yours! Since I am doing research in science, So I set up a series of experiments to see if I can make it work. I tried a small portion of sealant on a piece of metal, wood and plastic. and let them sit for two days. or dry them with a hair dryer. In all cases the sealant was washed away like sugar with water. I don't recommend this product until they solve the problem.
