Rated 2 out of 5 by from Patching Concrete Walls If you want a smooth finish like you have inside your home this is not the product to use. It dries extremely hard and if you cannot smooth it out you have problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DAP 3.8L Gray Bondex Concrete Patch Unfortunatelly last spring we where faced with leaking in the corners of our foundation, no one wants to deal with that kind of problem. A trip to Home Depot with a knowledgable salesman, was what we needed to set us up with this "Gray Bondex concrete patch". This product hardened like the original concrete, when applied on dry clean area it bonded with great strength stopping all leaks and gave a insulated barrier to the cold.It was simple to apply with a brush anyone could do it. I would suggest this product to anyone who has a leaky basement, use this product and get it done right the first time. Thank you F.M.

I need to do repairs to a sidewalk and also want to skim coat it all to make uniformed. At what temperature should this be done? Should this wait till May long weekend and no earlier?

Asked by: Brenda
If you want it to cure properly I suggest you wait until we have some solid sunlight and double digit overnight temperatures.

Hi, the foundation wall (near the grass) outside of my house is flaking off about 10in x 10in, 1/4 in thickness. is this a good product to patch this area? if not, what do you recommend? thanks

Asked by: Washington
Thank you for posting your inquiry. DAP Ready-Mixed Concrete Patch is designed, marketed and labeled for use in minor masonry repair. Based on the information that you have provided regarding your intended application, the use of a traditional dry-mixed portland cement patching product and bonding addative would be the most appropriate choice for your needs. Should you have any additional questions or require further assistance, please contact DAP’s Technical Customer Service Department at 888-327-8477.

Is there any problem as I use DAP Ready Mix Concrete underlay Instead of Portland Concrete for 3 sq. feet stucco ?

Asked by: Thomas
DAP ready MIx Concrete should work for your project. Based on my experience of having use the product in 2-3 different projects, the key is to apply the cement in thin layers, either with a trowel or a putty knife (scraper), let it dry, apply another thin coat until the desired thickness is achieved.

what is total volume that each large 3.8L tub can repair

Asked by: Manny
Thank you for posting you inquiry. One-quart fills approximately 3 to 4 square feet at a ¼" thickness, one-gallon fills approximately 12 to 16 square feet at a ¼" thickness. If area to be patched is deeper than 1/2 inch, apply patch in 1/4-inch layers, maximum depth 1 inch, allowing each application to dry.

Patch  basement floor.10 sq. Ft by 1 inch thick.smallest  pre mix to do this.suggest

Asked by: William
Thank you for posting your inquiry. DAP Ready-Mixed Concrete Patch is recommended for minor repairs and spot leveling applications. It would not be recommended for use in multi-square foot/inch deep leveling applications. For this type of project/application, the use of a dry-mix portland cement based floor leveler would be recommended.
