Featuring a Lifetime Guarantee, Defiant deadbolts resist against drilling, sawing, picking and prying. The powder coated finish will provide years of durability. The latch supports both 2-3/8 in. and 2-3/4 in. backset distances. Also featured is a radius face plate for a traditional latch installation or the latch can be converted to a drive-in configuration when necessary. The design of the Defiant deadbolt provides an easy installation experience with only a Phillips screwdriver when replacing an existing lock. Defiant keyed locks can be re-keyed to fit your existing KW1 keyway. Please speak with your local Home Depot for further information about this process.

It will work on doors 1-3/8” to 1-3/4” thickness and the adjustable latch will fit 2-3/8” and 2-3/4” backsets. Very simple installation that only requires a Phillips screwdriver. This lock can be rekeyed to match the rest of your locks.

The EZ Fit latch is designed for 2-3/8 in and 2-3/4 in backsets. This deadbolt is keyed on one side and can be re-keyed to fit existing KW1 keyways. The contemporary design is great for a more modern look but will fit almost any style.

On close examination, there appeared to be a production flaw -- screw holes in the bolt mechanism to mount the two plates together were slightly offset, so getting the screws aligned into the threads was extremely difficult.
