The Freedom Keyed Entry lever has been newly designed with a 70 mm Rose Plate that easily mounts to doors 1-3/8 in. to 1-3/4 in. thick with the included hardware. The new design provides coverage of paint rings left from previous installations of door hardware. It is perfect for entry, basement or garage doors beyond which security is needed and a convenient twin pack, perfect for 2 entry doors. It features adjustable backsets and interchangeable faceplates for drive-in and traditional installations. The sturdy lever nicely coordinates with other fixtures in your home for a cohesive look. A limited lifetime warranty ensures that this device will withstand frequent use.

Le prix est attractif et, combiné avec une autre poignée identique, j'ai pu en acheter le bon nombre, soit 3. Le système de montage est très simple, la plaque de la serrure se dégage facilement pour un montage simple avec un cache cylindrique. Cependant, les deux ressorts des serrures font un vieux bruit de ressorts usés à chaque ouverture et l'ensemble semble un peu factice ou comme un jouet. Le mécanisme est détendu, ce qui fait que la poignée ne tient pas en place horizontalement et pend un peu. J'ai l'impression que cela ne va pas durer longtemps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic for the Seniors and well Made Units. I installed these Entry Door Lever units on a project for a Senior customer of mine. Every time I see her now she, always tells me how great they are for her when she has her hands full upon coming home from shopping, and she just has to push down on the lever and go in the house. Another thing she had mentioned was that she has bad arthritis her hands, and she finds that having not to struggle with a door knob is great need for her, I never thought of that for the Seniors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's OK The Defiant Entry Door set are just OK, but can be better. They are easy to install, functional, and good looking. There is a small annoying bug which you can see from my included pictures. Typically when the door is in the locking mode, the locking knob is horizontal, but this set of door lever has the locking knob in the verticle mode, which can cause confusion for users. Other door locks allow the users to select the knob to be in verticle or horizontal mode.

My old door lever, which wasn't a Defiant handle, stopped working and needed replacing. The dead bolt was still OK and looks great with this Defiant lever. It was easy to install and the lever goes well with my existing door. Quality looks good in both looks and weight as door handles need to be strong. Thanks Defiant, you have a great product here.

But I’m torn on the matte black colour though. I have been updating the hardware in my home to matte black. As time goes on, I’m starting to wish that there was a gloss black option, I find that the Matte black shows hand oils. If you’re putting this on a high traffic door, you might want to consider satin nickel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking black door handle Using this handle on a mechanical room to keep the children out. Handle looks aesthetically pleasing and well built. My only complaint which is common with straight levers is that when it returns to the resting point it’s almost impossible to get it back to sitting level. Seems to be no way to adjust this. Otherwise works as a handle should, like that you can lock it.
