It says these are ideal for hall and closet doors. Are they not heavy duty enough for bedroom & bathroom passage doors?

Hi Norm, These door knobs can go on bedroom/bathroom doors with no issues, however there is a different version of this door knob called a Privacy knob or Bed/Bath knob. This version looks the same but can be locked/unlocked from the inside.
