Affordably outfit exterior doors with this keyed entry knob twin pack from Defiant. The Saturn Keyed Entry Knob has been newly designed with a 70 mm Rose Plate that easily mounts to doors 1-3/8 in. to 1-3/4 in. thick with the included hardware. The new design provides coverage of paint rings left from previous installations of door hardware. It is perfect for entry, basement or garage doors beyond which security is needed and a convenient twin pack, perfect for 2 entry doors. It features adjustable backsets and interchangeable faceplates for drive-in and traditional installations. The sturdy knob nicely coordinates with other fixtures in your home for a cohesive look. A limited lifetime warranty ensures that this device will withstand frequent use.

When I was able to choose a modern stainless steel option for my exterior doors from my garage I jumped on it as they needed to be changed out as the old ones I had were rusted. I chose the Saturn collection as it was simple and reliable. Easy to use and easy to install. I like the dual handles as both keys would be the same and work with each other. The new handles add value to the door and make the colour pop as the original were a dark bronze on a dark blue door.

The construction is solid and the design is well done. They are not overly stylish, but the nice satin finish was exactly what I was looking for. I expect this set to last a long time. My only complaint would be the instructions if you are new to installing knobs. If you are experienced, then you won’t have any issues.

I work behind a desk all day and even I got the job done quickly. I like the Satin Nickel finish. Time will tell if it holds up to everyday use. Once installed the knobs feel sturdy and secure. Locking mechanism and keys work well. I recommend this knob.

All the parts were included plus 2 sets of keys, which is always good. The quality of the internals and the finish on the outside of the set were great. I'll probably get another set for some other doors I have.

They were easy to install with no modification or extra drilling required. They work well. I like that they have a lifetime guarantee. They come with 4 keys which is nice so that I don't need to get more keys cut.
