Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product, Exactly What We Wanted We purchased three showerheads knowing we wanted a rain-shower-type experience but also some measure of focused flow to ensure clean hair, lotion removal, and massage capability. Purchasing a showerhead online can be daunting due to the unknown nature of the size -- the dimensions are provided but it's still another thing to actually see and feel the product in person. In short, we couldn't be happier with the product or the end result. It looks good, functions flawlessly, isn't too large nor too small, is solid in its three programs (focused/massage, rainfall, combination) and we will buy from Delta again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with this shower. My water pressure is regulated to 30-50 psi and the shower was weak ... Very happy with this shower. My water pressure is regulated to 30-50 psi and the shower was weak until I removed the restrictor. After that it it worked perfectly! Note: It is not trivial to remove the restrictor for the novice. I found directions on a discussion board. Procedure: 1) Remove screen from threaded connector. 2) The restrictor is the green plastic part under the screen. Place shower head on a towel to protect it from dammage. Screw a self-drilling screw through the middle of the restrictor until the larger threads are into the plastic (approx 5-8 turns). 3) Use pliers and carefully pull it out (requires some effort to remove). 4) Place screen back in threaded connector, being careful to seat the rubber gasket.

I originally planned a separate rainhead shower coming from the ceiling and a more traditional one coming from the wall but when I found this one with multiple spray settings I decided to go with just that and it has worked out very well. I like the power and the large diameter. I also very much like the look of it and it goes beautifully with the other fixtures I put in the bathroom.

The heads perform as advertised. It clearly states it is flow limited to 2.5 gpm and it is. I've put a 5 gallon bucke under it and it takes 2 minutes to fill. It works in all 3 positions, the switch works well, good washer, no leaking, so what is my gripe? At 2.5 gpm, there is just not enough flow rate to really feel good. This is a high end unit, my expectations were more. It is large and has a lot of holes so it needs a lot of water. I fell this would be a great head unrestricted. As it is, it is only average, and for the price, just doesn't make sense. If you are nervous about getting a restricted head, pass. If you want that feature go ahead, but you may be able to find something cheaper.

Pro: good quality. better than the low-ends, and cheaper than Moen's. 3 settings (strong middle massage stream, outside rain cover, and all of them at once). Easy installing. Con: water flow is stronger than the rain, more like a water fall :-) but the females (long hair) in the house loved it. I personally prefer the natural rain drops and not a forceful stream.

Love the water pressure but it does put out almost 3 gallons a minute so it's not for someone who is looking for something economical. I didn't care, I wanted something that was going to wake me up and make me feel good in the morning. It's my "me time" so I splurged.

It's really hard to describe how good it feels. My wife raves about how much easier it is to rinse the Shampoo, Conditioner, etc. out of her hair. There's no going back now.

Feels like a massage on my lower back, rinses great! Am definitely going to buy one for my second bathroom before they discontinue this model! Highly recommended!

what else comes with this shower head. what do I need for complete installation. also is there matching vanity faucets.

Nothing else. I ordered the arm in "venetian bronze" from Delta to match the finish. Attached the arm to the water pipe in the wall. Attached the head to the arm. Done. The look of this isn't modern so you have to browse through Delta line of faucets in "venetian bronze" to your liking. I had Moen "Eva" trim in "oil rubbed bronze" and didn't use its own head (regular, small) and ordered this big 8" head and extended arm from Delta for 1/2 the price of similar products from Moen. We couldn't tell that they're from 2 diff companies.

I purchased this, installed it, and the 3rd setting with both the rain and power setting does not...

I purchased this, installed it, and the 3rd setting with both the rain and power setting does not work. It barely drips out. We removed the flow restrictor, but this 3rd setting still will not work. Any ideas / thoughts to how to fix this? Is it defective?

Hello 3notfunctioning, Assuming that previous showerheads did not give you problems in that location the head could be defective. With the flow restrictor removed you should have definitely seen an increase in flow. I would recommend exchanging it for another unit. I hope this helps. Cheers, Chris

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 52680 can be mounted in the ceiling with a ceiling arm mount. The showerhead does pivot about 19 degrees either way.
