Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed in Quality - No Recourse Seemed like a great price for a nice pristine white tub with arm rests. Once installed, found to be incredibly flimsy (and this is compared to other acrylic tubs). There's a deep textured dent in the tub floor now, just a couple of days in, and I can't return it. I have no recourse. I'm beyond disappointed!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No protective covering, stratches during reno work This tube comes without a protective covering, so it's susceptible to scratching while you're using thinset and grout while tiling on the walls around it. My tub wound up noticeably scratched. I would absolutely not buy this again. if you do, make sure that it is protected on every surface and only remove that protective covering when you've finished and cleaned up from all work with potential abrasives: thin-set, grout, drywall mud dust, etc. If I had to do this again I'd buy a steel tub.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware We bought this tub 18 months ago and it has delaminated twice. The manufacturing quality control must be non existent. The shell is so thin it moves when in use. I thought Delta was a good make but this proved they are not. The warranty is for 10 years but I wonder how many times it will need repairs? Home Depot should remove this product form their stores. Our bathroom Reno cost over $30000 and is ruined by this flimsy built tub.

Can this tub be used with ceramic tiles surrounds and not prefab enclosures? What are the drain position specs (for the plumber to install the drain) for a right drain tub?

Yes. This can be used with ceramic tile installation. Not sure about the specs, but I had the right hand drain installed by a plumber with no issues. Make sure the plumber secures the tub in place with screws.

What sealant/adhesive am I supposed to use with this tub? You have to glue the apron support to the apron but guess what - HomeDepot Canada doesn't sell any of the recommended sealants. If you use the wrong one on the drain or the apron, it won't work.
