Rated 4 out of 5 by from Broken Spigot in bad spot Quiet at first. Eventually gets louder as time goes by. Be careful of the plastic cover, it will hit the fan if hit or leaned on. The power switch disconnects itself sometimes. Drain spigot in bad location. Mine snapped off. Spigot would be better off towards the front and provide bumpers for protection. Wheels will angle over time with horizontal bracing. Mad heavy for stair climbing. Other than that, if you dont mind the extra noise it does its job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The valve placement and handle are a bad joke Actually bought this in 2019. On day 1 I went to blow out sprinklers and snapped the little plastic handle going across stones. Gonna try the 10 inch wheel fix I see in the reviews. Nice compressor but bad valve placement and a cheap plastic valve handle

Is it OK to leave this constantly pressurized, or should it be turned off after every use? Like, if I'm not going to use it for a few days or weeks?
Asked by: RoadRunner88
You could do that but unless you unhook all of your air hoses from the compressor it will leak down, run, leak down and so on. Personally, I just flip the switch off to save electricity. I have left my compressor full of air, turned it off and there was no noticeable air loss when no air hoses were hooked up to it. When air hoses were left hooked up there would be a slow air loss. When air tools were left hooked up it would lose air and cycle on and off about every 45 minutes. Leaving it on for days or weeks is a bad idea.

How to choose the right size of compressor for my garage

Asked by: Cory
It really depends on how you use the compressor. I have to use my compressor for things like tire inflation ( car, bike, utv , and tractors) . it is also used to power a impact wrench, grease gun, and can crusher. The compressor can handle some thin paint jobs. The only thing that I would like to have is a larger tank so that the compressor does not have to run so long. Suggest you list your things you want it to power and take with you when you go shopping. Most hardware stores have folks that can look at your list and suggest the CFMS you will need.

Would this compressor be a good choice to use with a gravity feed paint spray gun that needs 13cfm at 30psi? (Sorry if this isnt worded properly, this is all new to me, and im trying to learn it while repainting a my truck.)
Asked by: Jimmy
Possibly, you may want to take a look at a bigger compressor but it may do the trick.

What is the cut-in psi for this compressor? Is it adjustable?
Asked by: SP
Cut in pressure was way too low about 100psi , takes way too long to build up to 225psi , the pump will never last pumping that hard and long .... poor quality Dewalt should be ashamed to put thier name on a cheap product such as this ....

I bought for my husband but do I need a compressor hose and what size. Please help.
Asked by: Tetonrv
Yes, you do need a hose as one is not included with the compressor. There are various types and qualities of hoses available. May I suggest you go to your local Home Depot store and ask for assistance. The hose sizes are the same. The lengths vary and so does the flexibility of the hoses. The HD associate will be glad to assist you and the hoses are in stock.
