Rated 5 out of 5 by from works well Good penetrating power, compared to the Arrow T50 I tried first. I like the loading system. Only complaint is that the distance between the staple exit and the edge(s) of the gun is greater than with other models I've used, making it difficult to get staples right where I want them in tight locations.

What is the maximum lenght staple that will fit? I have 3/4” quarter round to secure to the vinyl laminate flooring.

Hello Rondief Thank you for your contact. We apologize for any trouble or inconvenience in finding information. The DeWalt staple gun can be loaded with several different types of fasteners: 1/4-inch and 9/16-inch 18-gauge staples to handle temporary nailing for posters and crafts and heavy-duty nailing in thicker materials. It can also hold 1/2-inch and 5/8-inch 18-gauge brads to hang small pieces of trim and crafts. Best Regards Sherri C DEWALT

If I am securing carpet to 4x4 and plywood, to make a cat scratching post and climbing structure, will this stapler be strong enough?

Asked by: Kirk
Hello Kirk Thank you for your contact. We apologize for any trouble or inconvenience in finding information. The stapler works with a variety of lengths. It would depend on factors such as the thickness of the carpet and the hardness of the wood. However, in most cases, there should be no issues. Best Regards Sherri C DEWALT

Can I use this with brad nails to reinstall cabinet toe kick? Toe kick from 1987 and is 1/4" thick with cherry veneer. I have a pneumatic brad nailer but this seems easier if it will work. Also planning on using some construction adhesive. Thanks.

Will this staple masonite to the back of a bookcase?

Asked by: Tribre
Yes, it will staple & penetrate masonite board. You might still need to hammer the staples lightly, with a mini hammer or ballpeen hammer if any staples are sticking out.

It is manual. I wouldn’t trust it to effectively hold shingles to plywood, especially in bad weather.
