The DEWALT DWASHRIR Impact Ready Shears Attachment is able to cut up to up to 18-Gauge material including but not limited to : sheet metal, corrugated sheet metal, duct, asphalt shingle, steel mesh, vinyl siding, wire, plastics, cardboard and rubber. This tool features a 360° swivel head that allows for maneuverability when cutting. Connects via standard 1/4-inch hex shank. This attachment works with most 18V to 20V impact driver and drills, regardless of brand. Attachment only, drill not included.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well worth the cost!! One of the best $100 spent. Had to cut 7 sheets of corrugated roofing from HD. Had tried metal blade on skill saw on a previous job which painfully worked. Dewalt indicates it works with many makes, it is just okay with the Ridged drill. I made it work although a slight change in design would make it work better. Also had to customize the locking brace, which didn't take much (and I felt it held things in place better). A the end of the job It was way better than using hand metal shears. Was able to cut through the width of a sheet in just under 2.5 min... and was not fatigued. If Dewalt makes a slight design change, I would give it 6 stars.

L'ajustement est facile pour avoir un bon angle d'attaque . Ensuite permet une coupe droite (strait) franche, coupe courbes de rayon plus petit que je pouvais croire avant de l'essayer. Maintenant le test sur chantier. Si c'est aussi durable que les autres outils deWalt que j'utilise [ tout mes outils à batterie sont des deWalt, et je ne suis pas doux pantoute avec ] il ne devrait pas avoir de problème avec la durabilité. Although supposedly rated for 18 gauge, cannot seem to manage 24 gauge at all - binds, becomes lodged, bends and distorts the metal. Cannot perform even straight, flat cuts, let alone bends or curves. Might be alright for 30 gauge aluminum, but so would a pair of scissors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing tool Bought it 4 years ago. I do metal roofing. Its a wrist saver. Its been put through so much and still going strong. By now I'm just throwing stuff at it to see how much it can take... I've cut 18 gauge 304 stainless steel with it. No problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 18 gauge shearing made easy make sure it fits your dewalt power tool, not all impacts are the same. Some have the proper guide to secure the attachment to the base and some don't. mine doesn't but it still stays mounted on. the shear is excellent.
