Our new 1/4 sheet sander combines many end-user driven features and benefits. We have reduced the overall height of the unit, while keeping a powerful motor. We have also been able to reduce the vibration and wobble to give the tool improved comfort while using. The new paper clamp system was created after feedback and frustration that users had with the current wire form system. The new system works with a front button and a paper tension system with the back paper clamps.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad, but still disappointing I bought this primarily because my cheap sander's dust collection was a joke and I needed to do some sanding inside. I was going to buy the Ryobi after being very impressed with their orbital sander, but reviews convinced me to spend more on the DeWalt instead. I wish I had gone with the Ryobi, quite frankly. While this feels solidly built and has some nice features (ease of loading the sandpaper compared to cheaper models, great ergonomics), the dust collection is very disappointing. The dust bag never fills up at all and most of it ends up in the air, whereas my Ryobi random orbital sander has superb dust collection. Perhaps sheet sanders are inherently weaker in this area than random orbit sanders, I don't know. But I bought this hoping for good dust collection and for what I got, I could have paid much less for a cheaper model and been at least as happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Handy Sander. Simple single speed powerful and Handy Sander. It grips the Sand Paper properly, better than the competitors. the hole punch tool is very useful tool. I have used it for a month and i would say, its a great tool to have in a tool box.
