Rated 2 out of 5 by from Handy portable, not the most robust or reliable. This is my second cordless dewalt compressor, and both have failed at the pressure switch. I need to manually turn off/on in order for it to build pressure after every 5-6 nails. Very frustrating. Both leak at the factory hose clamps and need sealant and ring clamps to ensure they don’t lose air over night. I can’t even seem to find a parts list to order the pressure switches. All my tools are dewalt but this is one of the poorest I’ve purchased so far.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective parts, multiple units failed. right out of the box the safety valve (which is non user-serviceable part) was defective, meaning it would start leaking at 90psi and never get up to pressure (killing the battery quickly). I returned for a replacement, which had to be sent from another store. The replacement got about 2 hours use before the EXACT same part started leaking at 90psi again. This issue makes this tool completely useless. The problem part is a brass 90 degree elbow joint covered by a plastic shroud that attaches directly to the tank and runs to the compressor via a hose. This elbow joint has a pressure-overage safety release of some type (I'm assuming a spring loaded ball bearing or needle valve) which should be only releasing pressure at something like 200-250 psi, not 90. Anyhow, just avoid this, it's nothing like Dewalt's usual quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tool efficacy 10/10, longevity 2/10 Overall good compressor BUT in the 3 years I owned the compressor would just die at random at least once a year and it was fixed at a shop and covered by warranty within the 3 year warranty period after that it'd cost me more to pay for a repair than just buy a new compressor. Tool 10/10, longevity 2/10.

Does this have an automatic shutoff when it gets to a desired psi?

Cut-Out Pressure: When an air compressor is turned on and begins to run, air pressure in the air tank begins to build. It builds to a certain high pressure before the motor automatically shuts off, protecting your air tank from pressure higher than its capacity. The high pressure at which the motor shuts off is called cut-out pressure.
