Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just buy it! I was a little sceptical at first as i am used to carrying the old nailer n tank thinking that cordless would not be able to complete an entire house with trim but dewalt clearly proved me wrong! With my corded nailer the jams were a common thing something that i would just learn to live with! But man am i happy with this! Less tools to travel with or dragging a cord around makes me very happy i am finally free of that and what a feeling, most people dont like the being free of the cord but once you are its like being reborn again! Have fired probably a million nails in this thing already with using softwood and oak and maybe have had 5 jams! That’s incredible to say, overly impressed with this an considering buying the framming nailer which is getting amazing reviews!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unreliable This is the second cordless dewalt nailer I have owned and both mis-fire at least 30% of the time leaving you carrying around a nail punch. I thought maybe I got a dud but after getting a brand new nailer I’m having the exact same problems... Do not waste your money on one of these nailers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised I bought this 2 days ago, so that I could install a bunch of baseboard in multiple apartments. My gas powered cordless brad nailer had a bent firing pin, and I didn't want to have to drag a compressor up and down 4 flights of stairs. I had used a battery powered cordless brad nailer in the past and I was definitely dissatisfied with the performance of it; you could only fire 15 - 20 brads before there wasn't enough juice to countersink the brads. I figured with 2 new 20 volt batteries and a brushless motor I could probably make it through half a day or so before I would need to stop and charge all my batteries again (I have a total of 5 batteries). I was definitely wrong, I went 2 days on a single battery, shot like 2000 brads. I am very impressed,

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't last long, not made well It was ok while it lasted. Started to jam more often. After the 10th time using it, it would only shoot one nail then jam. I was told by the repair guy that it was a common issue. I'm a contractor with aprox $10,000 worth of dewalt tools but I'm fed up. Dewalt is hit or miss and I don't trust them any more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tool Great tool. Acurate and easy to use and load. Good balanced weigh too. Wish it came with a hard case to protect tool and nose

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic. That is all. Superb tool. Used in putting in 3/4" ash as well as 1/4" reclaimed oak, along with multiple kinds of trim. Efficient battery use and misfires are rare, with no jams at all yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from get it now totally worth it use it all the time!!!! i used to half to pull out a Compressor every time i wanted to use my air nailer and use annoying for small jobs and bearable for big jobs. now with the battery powered nailer I have found uses for it that i wouldn't have tried if i had to pull out a Compressor to do it. this weapon of mass creation haver on countless occasions!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game Changer! Just got this gun today! Already used for installing MDF casing and baseboard. Used 2” pins to set door frame in place. Wow, all perfectly driven, no misfires, no jams and best of all, no hose and compressor. This is going to change the game! Seems really good as far as battery use goes. Very impressed with Dewalt!

Can this be used for both securing moldings and interior wall framing?

Asked by: Byridg
A framing nailer would be better suited for interior wall framing. A Brad Nailer is used to attach lightweight trim. The head is thin gauged and small.
