Rated 2 out of 5 by from No pressure! When other reviewers said that their garden hose had more pressure, I thought they were exaggerating. They were not. My garden hose with a spray nozzle produces more pressure than this product, making it effectively useless. The feature to draw from water in a bucket is really nice, but when there isn’t enough pressure to clean a deck or driveway or your siding, or anything else that your hose can’t reach, then what’s the point. This thing is good for washing your car but not much else. I really wanted to like this because I love dewalt products, but this one was a let-down.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money Bought this a week ago, comes with garbage weak plastic fittings, and the pressure is better to put your thumb over the end of a hose, second use plastic quick connect burst off in half and soaked me, when you see it broken you can see it's either glued or made in a way that barely holds it together, the foam sprayer barely reaches past a foot and spread is horrible (using proper spray foam soap) don't waste money on this I bought just cause I had so many dwalt 20v batteries laying around, will be returning

Although I thought the brand Dewalt is good, this product changes my mind. If you are looking to water your plants and impress your neighbours, use this one but cleaning or anything else... Forget it! ... It is heavy, the battery only lasted for about 15 min, there's not enough pressure on the nozzle to do the cleaning. I am going to have to return this item to HD. I bought it because it is a "pressure" washer, but it should just be called a washer without pressure. Dewalt, please reassess the quality of your machine when you create a product. For example, the idea of having a cordless pressure washer is great, but the delivery is a bust.

I got it to clean a large air conditioner unit and reusable air filters and it works great for that without damaging them. Also used to clean deck furniture and my truck and car as long as the truck isn't covered in mud. I use spray nine in the detergent bottle and my cars just shine after. I keep finding new things to clean with it. Great tool just wish Home Depot had the one with battery and charger in stock when I bought it in May as it's a better deal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really wanted this to be better I'm a big Dewalt fan and I really thought this could be a great product. The water pressure is decent, but takes a while to get to the nozzle. A 5Ah battery drains pretty fast but I'm still able to get a full wash of the truck. It worked pretty well for the first 3 washes, but now it no longer works. I've checked for kinks in the hose and proper connections, as well as changed different tips. Sadly, I will be returning this. Reading other poor reviews, I still wanted to give this product a try.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extremely convenient, covers most use cases Works as advertised but don't expect it to be like a traditional power washer. There are others that rate this poorly and say it's merely the same as a garden hose sprayer but this is absolutely false. This is without a doubt stronger than a basic garden hose gun. This strips my patio wood paint off and removes build up of black soot and oil under my bbq and if you try putting your fingers in front of the gun, you're gonna strip your skin. Does a garden hose gun do that? This power washer is about half the psi power that of a traditional one and yes that is for you to understand and know before buying. The usage for this is in my opinion basic spring cleanup: power wash your concrete and asphalt spaces , swimming pool deck, your patio furniture, tarp and tent cleaning, bikes, even powerful enough to strip off your grim on bbq grills, and car wash. For car wash I would actually use the power nozzle for wheels but move to a less powerful wider nozzle for your body so as to not strip the clear coat . The battery lasts around 20-30m on a full charge so for extended use, I would have 2 batteries handy. For me I have 4 batteries because I have a large family of DeWalt tools so power isn't an issue for any task. I will say the weakest part of this tool is the garden hose attachment which is made of PLASTIC?!?!? The tool is made super tough like any DeWalt tool but then they go for plastic for the most important part of the tool?? Once you break this, it's game over and I'm not aware of where to find a replacement. Also what is annoying is the fast release attachment is weak and pops off easily when you just even touch the attachment, and you have to then turn off the garden hose then reattach and then turn back the garden hose faucet again. This happens OFTEN and really a pain point of this product. So despite this, I still love this product because it's EASY to use and fast to whip out and USE. Very convenient being cordless.... I also own a traditional power washer but how many times will you admit you actually drag that thing out of your storage and plug it in and setup hose etc...? It's a huge chore to setup a plug in traditional power washer ... This is lightning fast.... Zero setup. Whip it out and go, cordless freedom. You end up using it wayyyy more often than the plug in power washer. It's powerful enough for MOST use cases and in the times you need more power, you go lug out the real power washer --- I consider them companion tools not replacement. Hope this helps.

2nd attempt to ask this question. When I first purchased the Dewalt Pressure washer, I removed it from the box and installed the battery and pulled the trigger and water shot out. Is this water left from factory testing? Should I be concerned?

No they do test them to ensure the water releases properly and can have a little left over inside.
