Bring in construction I’ve used several different brands of drill/driver and impacts. Hands down I’m still impressed with this product for power and reliability . Great products and would highly recommend .

It does everything I need it to do and more. Everything about it is perfect except for one thing. The selector switches on the foot of the tool are very sticky (or hard to change accurately). When I need to switch between speeds on the impact I need to remove my gloves just to change it. Its just a bit inconvenient for an otherwise awesome tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic run time [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked these up 2 years ago when my old Ni-cad set died and was looking to get the best run time for the buck. Between the large batteries and the brushless motors the life is fantastic. They are a little heavy for long periods of use but since I rarely use them for more than 1-2 hours at a time its an acceptable trade off to know they will have the capacity for whatever job it might be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Changing brands. Since lithium-ion batteries I haven't purchased a "bad" drill. After my first, a makita 10.7v I started to trust cordless drills. I had my makita 18v drill/impact for almost three years with no troubles. Original batteries that to this day have not failed. A good friend of mine is using that very set. I'm in the automotive industry and do construction on the side. From 8 hour days of continuous use to weeks without use. The batteries were tough. I kept them charged and didn't run them dead. The drills held up as well. No mechanical failures even with drops. The impact took a thirty foot drop to med. soft dirt. The grips didn't come off with grease and oil on them frequently. The only maintenance was dry graphite lube in the quick release on the impact. ( I would reccomend this especially if your bits get rusty) That being said I've had my dewalt for two weeks and have used a good amount. I really like the clutch on the drill. "Torque adjustment" it cuts power to the motor instead of the traditional clutch system. It works almost without flaw. I'm happy with the performance with both drill and driver. Time will tell the truth, so far so good.
