Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sturdy, BUT... I just bought this yesterday and had it assembled in no time. I mounted my mitre saw on the stand and attempted to raise it. It wouldn't go up. After fiddling around with it, I got it up. Now, it won't go down! So, there it sits. Fully up and ready to use, but unable to retract to it's storage position. On the good side, it is extremely sturdy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great features , but attention to detail is poor Love this stand for the folding / rolling features it has . But there is definitely some flaws I’ve found within the first week of owning it … I have a DWS779 Miter Saw on it - as you can see in the pictures , any piece of stock that is wider than 9” - won’t sit on the extending supports , because they’re 5” out the rear side of the saw.. the saw is as far back as it can possibly sit, so nothing to work with there.. and not to mention - the support itself - once tightened at any given length, it does not sit level . Again - you can see that in the pictures as I leveled the stock stop to compare to how terrible the support is. Definitely needs some tweaking and more attention to details.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Okay stand, better options available I like the smaller foot print compared to my previous stand, however this one is not designed to be stored upright which is not ideal and the slide outs are not as sturdy as other stands. Dials are not as easy to use as other flip style locking mechanisms. Other saws have a quick release mounting mechanism for the saw and stand which this one does not. There is a serious design flaw with the mechanism which locks the stand in the working position. The gas shock also seems under powered for the weight of the saw and stand. Still requires quite a bit of force to raise the stand

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stand won't collapse. I bought it a year ago at Home Depot worked fine but after the fifth collapse it will not go down. Anyone know what's is wrong with it? Never was damage or misused. Really annoying that I can't store it in the corner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Arms are useless Maybe is me but the arms even in the lowest position are higher than the table of my mitre saw. Wood doesn’t lay flat or level Arms should below mitre table or is there a kit I need to buy to bring the mitre saw up higher that attaches to the stand. My saw is dws780

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Great Basically a month into using it the arm rails became useless. The can't hold anything heavier than a 2x4 and won't stay in the adjusted height. Then less than 2 years after buying it, the saw wont collapse anymore. Not sure why and it's not covered by warranty anymore because it's not considered a "factory defect". Frustrating that it has stopped working for no reason, I guess that explains all the awful reviews on this stand. If the was durable it would be excellent. Its mobile with rugged tires and folded out nicely while it worked.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Spent an hour setting it up, and its defective I have many dewalt products. I assumed it would be good quality. The lowering mechanism was defective and soon as i lifted it, it would not lower. Wasted over an hour assembling it and now I have to return it. Called Dewalt and they couldnt do anything other then tell me to return it. I checked the reviews on the dewalt website for this product, its 2.4 stars, with everyone complaining for a faulting lifting and lowering mechanism.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dewalt mitre saw stand Great compliment to the Dewalt Mitre Saw. The hydraulic lift is an asset for collapsing the saw and stand. The solid wheels roll very well and the unit is very solid. Very easy and flexible connection of the mitre saw to the table. Extend supports on the side of the stand to improve cutting of longer boards.

Can I leave the Mitre saw on the stand when it is folded up and in the vertical position. Will it tip over?

Asked by: TomS
Yes, it was made for it.  The idea is to use/transport/store it.  Very stable when folded.

Will this work with any mitre saw? I have a Milwaukee 12 sliding compound mitre saw.

Asked by: jackie43
Yes it should.  The sliding connections are highly adjustable and will work for any number of different tools not just mitre saws.

Does this stand work for the dewalt 60v table saw?

Asked by: mike
No, the DWX726 is for miter saws and planers only. It will not accommodate a table saw because it is not deep enough. Using the special mounting brackets that come with the stand, you may use DWE74911 for the FLEXVOLT table saw.
